I have set my Ringtone volume as 10/10, but whenever i plug in my earphone it automatically changes to Silent mode. Hence I am not able to identify calls while listening to music. Has anyone faced this problem...Or could it be recovered?

Thinking to buy one, but i,m in doubt dat is der any problem in downloading apps from windows app store?? and also i haven't used android smart phone but laptop, will it b easyway towork on it??

ts, 01 Jul 2015Does the camera perfom wel at night....!Of course provided you use the application Blinks developed by MS for taking photos in low light. The indoor and low light photos taken with it are relatively noise free. Moreover it produces funny animation videos and takes a number of still pictures at different time intervals and the best looking photo can be saved.

The pictures taken with it are relatively noise free. Also funny animation videos will be obtained and the application will be taking simultaneously number of still pictures, out of which best looking picture can be saved.

sanjay, 07 Jul 2015Camera is not good, low light getting to noise.Download the application Blink developed by MS from windows store and use it for shooting pictures in indoors or low light instead of Lumia camera. I am using the application and the quality of pictures taken with it is very good. Of course day time pictures taken with lumia camera are coming great.

Good day, just bought the Nokia Lumia 640 XL Dual sime last 3 days ago, I bought also an SD card so I can store all my music and photo files their, but got a problem by playing all my music (stored at SD Card), its displayed saying its error or not supported, then some of the applications I tried to download (using my microsoft old account) either store to the phone memory or SD card saying its unable to download, any idea what will be the problem on this phone?

For ,All Lumia buyer avoid to perchase 512 Mb ram device 1 Gb ram is available in the market.Main reason behind it,the 512 Mb ram device will not able to support all feature of Windows 10.So better to go for 1 Gb ram device instead of 512 Mb ram to enjoy all feature of Windows 10.

Using this phone for 3 weeks:
Pros:
- Glance screen is very convenient to check time and notifications
- ClearBlack Display is beautiful
- Camera works great, even in low light condition, just play with the exposure manual controls
- Fluid interface, remove Cortana live tile if you face micro stutter when returning to home screen
- Great battery life, with above average use I still have 50-60% left before I go to bed.
- The apps I need are available
Cons:
- Only 8gb internal memory, most but not all apps can be installed on SD
- A little too big for me, but I'm getting used to it
- A little problem with auto settings with White Balance in when taking photos in bright sunlight, need to manually set it to "Sunlight" mode to get the best photo quality, leaving it in Auto gets you dimmed or even yellowish photos
Overall its a great phone and I am extremely satisfied with my purchase, hope Windows 10 will be even better

The camera captures high-quality full-HD video with good audio clarity. The front camera is perfect for good quality selfies, even in low-light conditions.640 XL camera in outdoors and in good lighting conditions, the 13-megapixel Lumia 640 XL camera captures decent details, though the images tend to be just a little-bit over-exposed with some amount of noise. Noise is more of an issue in low-light conditions, but overall the camera does a pretty decent job in terms of managing light and maintaining image quality. The flash does a decent job of lighting up the subjects evenly.
