Lumia 640xl is a good option but not the best comparing to other Lumia phones.I am a avid Lumia user but problem is the touch sensibility & display is not upto the mark.camera both are good. The biggest factor is double tap to wake up screen which is failed frequently.At the time of calling screen visibility is the another problem and also it is the fact that 1.2 GHz q core processor is slower than 1.7 GHz dual core processor.again that Dolby sound is missing and Comparing with Lumia 730 which is the better option. Over all aspects and price view it is good with lag free experience.Ithink this will help to all buyers.

AAMIR, 13 Jul 2015its a useless phone ..theme is stuck...it works pathetic ... moreWindows phone is not for the hard core Android lover.Windows OS is totally different OS and highly optimized OS than the Android.And is the fact that Android is very unstable OS and is proved by every update its takes time to stable.Windows vision is clear.Microsoft will address three customer segments: businesses, value phone buyers, and Windows fans (who will get "the flagship devices they'll love"). This doesn't leave a lot of room for mid-range offerings in Microsoft's portfolio in the future.How could you compare Microsoft with Micromax and Other Cheap Chinese brand.All these cheap Android phone crying after 7 to 8 months they all are pathetic.On the other hand Lumia 520 still running with the new charm.This is what I have to say that You can stay for the long period with Windows Lumia Phone.But can't stay with Android phone for more than One year.Android is very unstable OS.

Shahid, 11 Jul 2015How'd this phone? Selfie's are good, but appears to be grainy under very low light. Whn u transfer songs via Bluetooth, it takes some time to refresh and show the new song under song list. Other than these two reasons it seems to be perfect. Best battery phone ever. If photos are not ur major concern u can go for it. 15k worth for a 5.7 display as android would cost more and would get heated up soon causing ur battery to drain fast

its a useless phone ..theme is stuck...it works pathetic ...whats app sucks on it ...silly mistakes in the user interface by micro soft reminds me that they make the ever hanging windows operating system for computers ...internet speen on gsm and wifi sucks....its like using windows 98(8.1mobile ) after using windows xl(android)
waste of money just the camra is good rest all sucks
awaiting the windows 10 mobile by end of july if thats not as what i expect i am gonna lose my mind ...guys at microsoft wake up even micromax or other chineese companies doing better than u

AnonD-416661, 12 Jul 2015Don't buy I am cursing myself for buying this stupid phone ... moredude u can send videos via watsapp with a size limitation of 16mb... on android u can send videos upto 25 mb ...also in windows watsapp has calling n audio sharing option are available.. update ur watsapp... also use shareit app for wifi file transfer(instead of xender in android)...

Don't buy I am cursing myself for buying this stupid phone I cannot attach any video file because it is not supported by Whatsapp etc even though other models is supporting it. I went to CGC gulf and nobody could help me with this problem and screen rotation is another problem it takes it own sweet time to rotate a photo or video and some photos or videos don't rotate. I can only receive a video file and forward it but cannot send it.

The front camera is perfect for good quality selfies, even in low-light conditions.640 XL camera in outdoors and in good lighting conditions, the 13-megapixel Lumia 640 XL camera captures decent details, though the images tend to be just a little-bit over-exposed with some amount of noise. Noise is more of an issue in low-light conditions, but overall the camera does a pretty decent job in terms of managing light and maintaining image quality. The flash does a decent job of lighting up the subjects evenly.

Im confused..
Shall i buy microsoft lumia 640 xl or lenovo vibe shot.
Currently im using nokia n8(as multimedia and photography), and lenovo p780 (for communication).
But confused where to upgrade?

Camera is not better then nokia n8.
Though settings are easy to navigate in microsoft lumia 640 xl.
But image clearity is same, n8 slight better in colour reproduction and low light photos.

I installed temple run 2 in my lumia 640 xl and it shows installed but it didn't appeared in my app list.. couldn't find the app nor the reason of this issue. Please if any one can help.

When you plug in your headset press the volume button you must be able to see an arrow facing down click the arrow and set the ringer to on you should be able to receive calls.

I have set my Ringtone volume as 10/10, but whenever i plug in my earphone it automatically changes to Silent mode. Hence I am not able to identify calls while listening to music. Has anyone faced this problem...Or could it be recovered?
