I came here and read most of the opinions about this phone, which were mostly negative. But I went ahead to have my own experience.
I love this phone, its slim, sleek, and light for my pocket. The windows 10 and all the Apps I have works fine and i'm having a good time with it. I will say its worth the price.
Just be aware that the internal memory is only 1gb and bcus of the size the battery is not very strong (2000ah); it give me 12hrs normal use. It is also true that it heats up averagely under heavy use.
I would have wished the memory was 2gb and the battery was 4000ah at the same size and weight; it would have been my dream phone come true and i would have been willing to pay a bit more for it.

Glauk, 16 Aug 2016A month ago I bought the Lumia 650,for the price is ok,bit ... moreIt's definitely worth you take it back to the store you bought it from (if that's the case) and tell them it could be a manufacturing problem. I've certainly had this experience before and I would expect for a Microsoft phone the battery life shouldn't be bad really. It could be because of this manufacturing problem why the battery life is not as good as it should be.

If not a manufacturing problem, it could be that it needs an update. I've had a couple issues concerning updates and manufacturing problems with previous Microsoft phones in the past, but they always got fixed 100% efficiently and never had issues since.

So check out whether your phone needs updating or not (as silly as it sounds with it being brand new). If it's still not right, take it/send it back to see if the manufacturers can identify the issue.

A month ago I bought the Lumia 650,for the price is ok,bit in slow side about opening apps,or searching.Battery life not very good,anyway is not bad phone in general for the price.I got problem when I watch YouTube for 15 20 minutes the phone switches off ond on by it self.I don't know if is software problem or phone problem.Is anyone facing this problem?

Well, for me it's just about a matter of users choice, May it be an Android, iOS, Windows, Etc...and all upcoming OS if there will be any...I was a die-hard Symbian user, and all I know and love is NOKIA handsets. When Symbian is no longer around I had a hard time finding a handset that I would be comfortable, so for me it's better you wuld be comfortable on all of he OS out there, just buy that handset that totally fits your need and life style. Peace Out Smart phone loverz......

For example Mouse Computer MADOSMA Q601 which is yet another Snapdragon 617 Windows 10 Mobile powered device. Both 503LV and MADOSMA Q601 have Continuum support too. (Although I do agree that with a screen size of 6.0 inches the MADOSMA Q601 is bit too huge to carry around.)
Not sure about other countries but the fate of Lumia 650 is sealed in Japan by its own Windows 10 Mobile powered brethren.

1) you don't have an eco system i think. so don't call it better.
2) modern apps?? really?? you mean modern Microsoft office apps?? lol
what you call modern?? less features than android?

3) power management?? oh i see, you have a battery saver mode now. your glance screen, double tap wake up and live tiles drink all juices. if users ask anyone, you will say stop all the features. am i right??

4) common platform?? oh my god.ARM and X86 cannot be common. someone tell this child. even your continum has access to very few apps.

5) windows phone has universal apps which never get an update in phone. even mu axis bank app doesn't work properly on windows phone.

6) you say outlook, thank you. android has outlook.
7) we can get office 365 on store.

8) go and play temple run on XBOX. i think someone said earlier that windows phone users don't play games and waste their times right?? can you tell his name??

9) if anyone want to use tiles, android has windows 10 launcher.
10) bettery life is so hell on windows phone. users can't control aaps from using one day juice. cannt compare with android, ages behind because Android has doze mode (as you say unique feature). where is windows phone?? i can't see. can you halp me to see where is win phone? when windows phone is jn standby mode it eats energy but Android know how to save. this can go inside your brain if you know something about doze mode.

11) in android Nougat, users can multiple apps on single screen. here also i can't see where is windows phone.
12) yes, windows 10 mobile is a full package of failure.

1) Continuum is a superb integration between PC and Mobile....modern people definitely need a feature like continuum....it removes the need of carrying a laptop/ tablet/ phablet....
2) Cortana made available to Android.....WOW....here is the direct challenge offered by Microsoft to Google on its on OS called " ANDROID"....Google has no daring to challenge like the way Microsoft did with the Cortana....still the MS office performs well in all Mobile OSs...(Windows 10 Mobile...Android.....iOS)...
3) for windows 10 Mobile I don't need to refer any news as friends like you update me through these posts...and rest the rock solid performance of the Lumia 650 it self justifies the Windows 10 M.
4) Oh ...the market share is becoming shrink for windows 10..... but with the time Microsoft will also obtain a good position in this segment as windows 10 OS (PC and Mobile) are best OSs.. actually momentum is started in several countries....let the time pass and you will realize the power of Windows 10 Mobile...and ya the anniversary update on PC (Windows 10) is improved and perfect...
