Shashwat.newk1995, 07 Aug 2016seriously, you are talking about a daddy's phone. an age ol... moreYes..windows OS has all generations compatibility..which android doesn't....ANDROID has continuum?....(big no)..now think which one is modern OS?....android is too slow with 3 GB RAM....and windows 10 M.is rapid fast with 1GB RAM...omg...outlook can't have gmail account?...ha ha ha...wake up....outlook is the best mail client...it can have yahoo...gmail..accounts.....oh Pokemon go...i really feel that these free games are designed to waste the time and money of people...and Google's bad OS..ANDROID supports that..which MICROSOFT doesn't...to play games like Pokémon go you need to use your internet data pack..again time and money wasted...so.microsoft doesn't develop these kind of time wasting apps..it supports only those softwares ot apps for which the work on mobile becomes easy and somewhat productive....Cortana is again superior than google now and Siri...no so match of cortana in voice section...in conclusion windows 10 mobile provides you all those things that you just need and not those things which consumes one's time rather than being productive...in real sense WINDOWS 10 M is the MODERN OS with superb security, productivity and reliability..which none of the OS does.....again let tell you neither Android or iOS has answer to Continuum...ao my dear friend wake up and be ready for big transition...the game is ON really...and master (microsoft) is now in the real mood of play....

You guessed it right Google is trying to block non Google email clients like Outlook and BlackBerry Hub email, in order to use Gmail in outlook you need to go to your Google account, click on connected app and sites. Under it you would see an option to Allow less secure apps. Switch it on. This will let you add Gmail to Outlook and other non-Google apps.

I'm facing problem for the first time. i reset my phone once in two months, all worked fine for every time. but not this time. then i searched for problem. MSpoweruser says " Google appears to be blocking Windows 10 Mobile users from adding Google accounts to Outlook"

And speak of email well Outlook works great for Microsoft Exchange servers which is the standard email server of all enterprise firms.

1) cortana doesn't operate if you don't turn on location.
2) it is much slower than google now
3) does not work with third party apps

and edge browser?? lol, i can see how many people use it it pc. people don't have option other than edge and uc browser, so they use.
some points about rock solid win10 m os

1) there is a big problem today, you cannot add your google account to outlook mail.
2) after installing some apps phone horribly lags. it opens so solwly (you can check YouTube videos for this)
3) majority of apps in store don't get update.
4) store don't have major hit games like clash of clans, pokemon go. for cricket lovers, there is a game called world cricket championship 2, which is not updated for years which is one of the best rating game in windows store.
5) if people want to play Pokemon Go, they have to buy an android phone.
6) if you want to set a ringtone. you have to install an age old app for this.
7) store don't have local apps which every local industry use it.
8) i got frustrated by seeing IRCTC app don't get any update. seriously this is embarrassing. most of the time your payment get cancelled. i dont know why.
Final Conclusion is:-
windows 10m is a developing os and android is already developed os. android has more functions so it need high end processing power. windows phone have limitations, one app cannt use other app or its data. so, app development and innovative ideas are so limited in windows phone. no one can do anything about it except Microsoft itaelf.
i have an age old phone lava iris 402+ with jellybean os, it runs faster than my lumia 640.
there are some articles in which people say they use marshmallow in their 512mb ram devices, and they are stable.

Don't get me wrong. Lumia 650 is not a bad phone but in Japan SoftBank recently released its own Windows 10 Mobile powered phone called 503LV, it is manufactured by Lenovo and for the price point it has better specs than Lumia 650 and even Lumia 640 XL.
It has 3GB RAM, Snapdragon 617 processor, 32GB of storage, Dual SIM, 5 inch 720p display, USB type-C port, Continuum support, 8mp rear and 5 mp front camera.
So forget Android devices, this phone and even it larger cousin Lumia 640 XL both are outgunned even by other Windows 10 Mobile powered devices. And the price of Lumia 650 and 503LV is almost same and 503LV looks and feel better in hand and performs better too.

Cortana is supreme over Google Now. The Edge is murderer of all other mobile browsers. Continuum feature in Windows 10 Mobile is beyond the capacity of any other mobile OS. The full office support is very handy for all business needs. Yes admiting that windows store has limited numbers of apps...and that is the reason why Windows 10 Mobile is supreme over other OSs (Windows 10 Mobile has all the apps suitable for a modern user...and not those time wasting apps of Linux based kernel)....Rock solid performance is far more important rather than having large numbers of applications (android has huge apps but at a same time its very slow...) Windows 10 Mobile has unified ecosystem for MOBILE, PC, LAPTOPS and HYBRIDS.....Those universal apps which are designed for PC can directly be utilized in windows 10 based mobile also....so all PC power is now at your finger tips.......in short if you wanna play with kiddish Android go for it time is entirely yours....and if you wanna experience the real Modern Mobile phone OS, windows 10 Mobile has no alternative to it.

windows 10m os is less efficient. thats the fact if you admit or not. Microsoft is not focusing on its phone market any more, you can see the anniversary update and judge.
there are tons of videos which shows which os is better by showing its speed, user interface, and much more.
ok, if you say I'm saying because of app gap in store. you will say apps are coming through Univrsal win platform. UWA are updating only for pc not for mobile. most of the apps are not updating any more.
these days people need
1) better multi tasking
2) more speed
3) better interface
4) better apps (not number of apps)

now lets compare with windows phone
1) multi tasking is like hell here
2) even whatsapp takes ages to open
3) only black and white interface!!
4) even Microsoft apps have more features in android than win phone.

if you ask me about cortana, no one need it. so no one bother to introduce it in other platform.
there are different applications if you want to sync your phone to pc and keep up to date.
google now is far better than cortana.
about security??
of course. try marshmallow. every hardware manufacturer is updating its security patch every month.
true multi tasking is coming on android nougat with best battery backup ever and most secure ever.
now you can compare win10 phone and android.

finally using a different platform. last time i used android was jellybean which sucks for many reasons. but marshmallow is far better than that. also better than windows 10 mobile.
Microsoft have to be smart. third party manufacturers made android so popular not himself.
if you i compare android os and win10m both are pretty good at their places. UI of other manufacturers make the difference. I thought anniversary update will make some differences in its os. but i have to say Microsoft isn't interested anymore which was admitted by satya nadella himself. now its time to move on.
