I wanted a new devise with all my samsung note4 features (removable battery, cardslot for my 200gb microsd and my 128msd, 2k screen) plus something new. I bought it. First day after android was difficult. Today, after 3 weeks of using it? Amazing, great UI, smooth, amazing camera (!!!amazing), beautiful minimalistic design, and the continuum is gorgious for my business life. Well done Microsoft, everybody is jealous.
Ps. many apps are missing but it is so easy to create shortcuts that link you to the original websites.... I feel 3 years ahead from the IOS & Android users...!

For the size and hardware, it feels perfect in size and weight is awesome (i thank plastic for that while other can complain about it - also not easy to dent like some other "premium" phones. I had lumia 1520 before this one. App gap may not be real but app update is a challenge though as quality of apps is not at par with iOS (I got an iPhone too)

I've tried it myself. What you can't do is inserting a ruler. Try placing your finger on the cell you want to resize.

AnonD-414227, 03 Feb 2016Why why why and why Microsoft is not updating it's own word... moreMicrosoft does update their office package atleast once every two weeks on Windows 10. They are much better on Windows 10 than on other platforms and using them together with Continuum is just excellent.

m using my 2nd lumia but first under the Microsoft brand. honestly my experience with all the mokias i've use iI still regard it up there with the best phone maker. still rate the N8 as the best phone hands down. in my second week of using the 950 XL I'm so disappointed I wish all this happened withing my first 7 days as I would have returned it immediately. problem is i had run out of my monthly data bundles. from the 1st of Feb I've found my self charging the phone numerous times like charging is in fashion. I wish I hadn't waited this long for such a f*** of a phone, the phone is always hot which means that there's an app continuously working in the background and I've switched all background apps and the problem hasn't been resolved. Microsoft have failed me. i'm very,very disappointed in this 950XL. i just hope i'm the only one with such an experience

Keep in mind, Microsoft has been always side by side with apple, hack, they even took them out of dust for about two times... So, as long as ms is, apple will be supported not to fall. As they tend to always do.

Why microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint app for iOS is better then windows 10 mobile OS..??
In lumia 950xl we can't resize or alter the table size, like we can do in word app for iOS..
In lumia 950xl we can't insert ruler, we can do it on word app for iOS.. And many things..
When Microsoft is not updating it's own app on it's own windows 10 mobile platform then how come other third party app vendors will update there apps on windows 10 mobile platform..??

Thakur, , 02 Feb 2016I am tempted to see the phone specification but will not bu... moreJP windows 10 changes that, I've done jail break on my NL 1520 to Windows 10 and the office document process on W10 is much better than it is on 8.1 but, there's a hickup, the OS is not yet completed, hence theirs some issues I suggest you wait for a while, in the mean time take a moment to go your closest mobile dealer check the phone out, dont buy it outright wait for those software update to make it on the 950xl else have word a few power 950xl users and take a call.
Strange part is I also own a Blackberry and I did manage to download Open office on my BB which works perfectly and can store your docs in windows docx format which is cool, the worse part is Microsoft know they suck at their feature list of the office app 95% of the features on older devices and the new version too yet they do nothing to change it. If it wasn't for the camera I would have left the Microsoft stable a few years back.

I am tempted to see the phone specification but will not buy because there is no customer service in microsoft dictionery. I am using nokia lumia 630 , can not work on excel as we work on computer. The whole purpose of buying a windows phone is defeated when it required to work on excel sheet on an android phone and transport it to your windows phone. Just shocked after buying.

You made your point clear while those who like the brand with all its in-perfections are going to defend it, its as simple as that. If your really have an issue about the brand go send an email to microsoft mate don't make it a big deal here (dont mean offend you but, wtf is wrong with you, seriously.) You made your point, move on.
If you know so much because I made it a point to know about you, you seem to be a smart fella, not sure if your programmer or not, why dont you create a software for windows phone that kills all the limitations that your talking about. Honestly, I hate the fact that Nokia was taken over by Microsoft in the first place.

I am using windows phone after I was using android phone, my problem is why Microsoft does not make full version of Microsoft Office for windows phones that will be exactly the same as the one I use on my computer?
Is Microsoft aware of Nokias customers escaping to Samsung because of the crappie apps that crushes now and then, eg. VLC, and other media apps?...
Microsoft cellphones are very strong I even dropped and stepped on my Lumia 535 but it never cracked on the screen it only got scratched at the back...
So please Microsoft I berg you to put full effort on developing apps, you have very very very poor apps others are not even apps but they are just webpages...

Accept that you cannot do this in windows phone. That too no windows phone has more options in the default camera for setting resolutions like 2 MP, 5 MP, 8 MP wide, 8 MP, 13 MP, 16 MP, 640x480, 1280x720, 1920x1080 etc. Again do not divert the topic by suggesting 3rd party apps. Talk to the point. I am talking about the default camera app. Sadly even LG G4 has this limitation.

Windows 10 mobile is working hard to develop their app store (marketplace). Soon you will able to use maximum great apps through their project bridge and later project Astoria. Naw a days windows apps are not optimized for windows 10 mobile. But this problem will be solved very soon. Friends win10m are totally records. Some reviewer shows the compares ios and Android with win10m, but they didn't talk about the optimization.
