I am tempted to see the phone specification but will not buy because there is no customer service in microsoft dictionery. I am using nokia lumia 630 , can not work on excel as we work on computer. The whole purpose of buying a windows phone is defeated when it required to work on excel sheet on an android phone and transport it to your windows phone. Just shocked after buying.

Sadly until brands don't listen to their customers this will be an ongoing issue with LG and Microsoft, having said that why you making a big mockery about it, is my question.
You made your point clear while those who like the brand with all its in-perfections are going to defend it, its as simple as that. If your really have an issue about the brand go send an email to microsoft mate don't make it a big deal here (dont mean offend you but, wtf is wrong with you, seriously.) You made your point, move on.
If you know so much because I made it a point to know about you, you seem to be a smart fella, not sure if your programmer or not, why dont you create a software for windows phone that kills all the limitations that your talking about. Honestly, I hate the fact that Nokia was taken over by Microsoft in the first place.

I am using windows phone after I was using android phone, my problem is why Microsoft does not make full version of Microsoft Office for windows phones that will be exactly the same as the one I use on my computer?
Is Microsoft aware of Nokias customers escaping to Samsung because of the crappie apps that crushes now and then, eg. VLC, and other media apps?...
Microsoft cellphones are very strong I even dropped and stepped on my Lumia 535 but it never cracked on the screen it only got scratched at the back...
So please Microsoft I berg you to put full effort on developing apps, you have very very very poor apps others are not even apps but they are just webpages...

AnonD-1360, 01 Feb 2016Ok Sudakar do you know anything about storing backup on you... moreTalk to the point. I am talking about taking backup of the installed apps in the memory card. Accept that you cannot do this in windows phone. That too no windows phone has more options in the default camera for setting resolutions like 2 MP, 5 MP, 8 MP wide, 8 MP, 13 MP, 16 MP, 640x480, 1280x720, 1920x1080 etc. Again do not divert the topic by suggesting 3rd party apps. Talk to the point. I am talking about the default camera app. Sadly even LG G4 has this limitation.

Windows 10 mobile is working hard to develop their app store (marketplace). Soon you will able to use maximum great apps through their project bridge and later project Astoria. Naw a days windows apps are not optimized for windows 10 mobile. But this problem will be solved very soon. Friends win10m are totally records. Some reviewer shows the compares ios and Android with win10m, but they didn't talk about the optimization.

Aadrian , 13 Jan 2016Sadly Symbian is history, but nothing we can do about it no... moreMicrosoft has an infamous history to shelf all their best made products out of the blue. You can look back in the last 10 years you'll see so many awesome products that Microsoft made but, pulled the plug on them for no reason.
Nokia had the best devices, what they din't have was unity and the couldn't think beyond, they should have fought back hard with upgrading Symbian but, after Elope took over, Nokia as a brand start falling apart. Honestly, I never wanted Nokia to be taken over my windows (Microsoft has a bad habbit of no completing the projects they start.) But, we all use it because it looks easy and is simple to use inspite of all its shortcomings.

AnonD-20890, 29 Jan 2016Whats the use?. You cannot take backup of the installed app... moreOk Sudakar do you know anything about storing backup on your cloud servers? Both Android and Windows offer that except the apps as the formats are quite different.
That way I like the Nokia N900 (I still have mine, to this day use it when I wanna hack into itsbitsy stuff like my brother's android phone password.) I'm not a hacker but learning stuff. Coming back to you, I'm not sure if you really own a Windows phone or any today's generation phones anymore. I'll tell you what are the brands I've owned, Blackberry, Windows 5 & 6, Some Android phones for a short time and linux based N900 (still own it ;) :p) and symbian for good half of my growing up days.
I have extensively used Windows phone from their hay days, the same goes with Blackberry and Symbian too, Symbian was awesome back in the 90's I can't deny that you had more apps than ever it had short falls too but yeah it was great and offered something that not many phone in those hay days offered only reason being 70% of the market share then was Symbian devices both the low end and the Mid & high end devices. Slowly they lost traction in the market, motorola and Google then came out with Linux and eclair OS motorola failed miserably because Linux wasn't many people's cup of tea the phone did really good in Europ and South East asia the most, what Google offered then was rich Media options and good and very attractive Operating System Interface which Symbian couldn't. Blackberry then was still the King after Nokia and Symbian, they did very well thanks to their good security offerings (True, to this day & the future.) People will change as the product they see visually appeal to them, Android brought some cool softwares that symbian couldn't offer. Windows was good back then but had low battery issues because the bad tft screens consumed most of the battery and so did the processors, they managed to do the job not many manufacturer's then only Motorola (had 4 devices running windows 5 and 6), Samsung (launched 5 devices), HTC (had more devices running windows 5 to 6.1) then came LG. My first Smartphone back in 2000 with a Blackberry and Nokia E61i then moved to Samsung i780 (Still love the phone for some customization that samsung offered.) then moved to N900, then got the Nokia C7 (it froze and had lot of issues sold it and moved.) to windows for good got myself a LG C900 then I got a BB8520 until I moved to 9810 then to Blackberry Q5 and quickly to Q10 (still own it as my daily driver) and now I own a Nokia Lumia 1520, N900 and Blackberry Q10.
I can't disagree that Symbian was awesome in its day and age but, unfortunately not many Symbian Developer I knew then wanted to pursue developing on Symbian any more and so it died and everybody forgot about it, for the heck of Nostalgia we still talk about those phones that have gone by once in a while that's it. So Sudakar give way to the new OS your free to give your opinion of the OS but, don't think everybody are fools and they'd believe anything you say.

Geo people do care about the security because most people use their phones to keep their password and other sensitive information these days on their mobile devices. There was a time when and still continues some people aren't aware and they are adamant to believe a product like brands like Google cannot be hacked and their identities or the so called sensitive information doesn't reach the wrong hands. You have people who believe anything you tell them and then you have people who would do their research and based on facts make their point clear.
So, don't loose it because of some people say things you dont like or can explain stuff. Aint worth the time. Let them believe what they like, you impart knowledge if your aware let them believe what they want to.....

t... moreProofy Cyogen mod is open source. If your so worried about security get yourself a Blackberry Passport or Priv (their servers have never been hacked till date.) With reference to iOS and other all their system has been hacked and information have been leaked multiple times this include iOS. Open source of closed source its the security codes that matter the most. You realized that Ubuntu(Linux) is open source and has never been hacked or attacked, check with your sensible friends first before you post something.
a code is written like your building the foundation of your house if the foundation is weak its going to show and when it does it will collapse the same is in the case of coding.
