Dont buy Microsoft handsets, i brought this lumia 950 xl ds for whooping 57k, and now as it is water damaged the microsoft service centers are not providing any service they are telling we cant fix your handset, Apple and Samsung can fix any damn handset even if it is completely water damaged and microsoft cant even service my handset even when i am ready to pay the repair cost.really poor service from Microsoft.

I received yesterday may Lumia 950 XL with continum pack. I was very enthusiastic for the new device but rapidly it became frustation. Just after 10 minutes charging the mobile was absolutelly hot, not only the rear plastic box, but also the screen. Later I made a second trial, and it happened again. I let it cool down and started exploring the phone, and with this simple used it got hot again. I´m now sending it back for analisys. Any of you have an opinion about this? Is this a general issue with this specific model or has been happening with other devices?

Mohamed Hamdy, 23 Jun 2016please someone advise me, how I can download updates for th... morei dont think so..... if youre looking for a system update you wont find it in the store rather you go to your phone settings look for update and security click update my phone and download Ps. the latest build is 10.0.10586.420 . so if you dont see this build at first download d first build and go and check for this one again. then the store not updating your apps try restarting your phone checking your storage is sufficient and your network connection is good

please someone advise me, how I can download updates for this phone, I saw alot of people saying after update the OS the phone is good, but when i open the store and try to download updates it only bring "start downloading" and not completed
may the phone is defected....!!?

Buying Linkedin fr 26.50 billion $, is biggest corporate deal, at the same time plastic trash phones, out dated specs, with Windows 10, nothing but, title changer only. Shame on entire management!

Don't you think that Microsoft should change their marketing strategy? I mean, no UWP, nor a perfect system or nothing will attract nobody to the system other than advertising. I never saw a Microsoft ad, this keeps the idea that Microsoft has few users and devs have no interest on making apps for few users, don't you think so? I think that the major mistake here is the lack of marketing, cuz with increased marketing more people will buy and increase market share, raising devs attention on the platform and thus closing the app gap.
I've only seen one Lumia commercial and it was for the 1020 and it was a great commercial for Lumia till date .

75% of active Windows 10 Mobile devices are OS upgrades.Alternatively, only 22.82% of current Windows 10 Mobile Lumias are of the x50 series (Lumia 550, 650, 950, 950 XL), suggesting that people are not actively buying these phones either. That leaves 77.18% of all Windows 10 Lumias as in-situ upgrades from Windows Phone 8.1. Considering the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are priced quite high, and the Lumia 550 and Lumia 650 did not see widescale release, none of that should a shock.

To read that Microsoft Mobile has folded up is a big disappointment to some of us. I love MS phones because it is very easy to use and provides something different from the normal, monotonous interface on Android. They should have continued to improve rather that than fold up.

I have been robbed, buying at 500$ also total loss. First I went market to value my 14 days brand warranty phone, 150$ is price 15 days used actual. This is power of publicity. MS windows are dead. Shit

Market share under 1%, MS has to release Surface phone, Right off! Otherwise doomed. Nokia rebirth has given lesson, not to bully again. Most stores n Dubai, have sent back stock 950XL for good.
