I have this lumia 950xl ..l had to have it..store is very poor..the cover is very bad..windowphone10..no good..the windowphone8.1 very good to me.. The glase no clean finger..it very bad to me..i buy it from120 day..l run away from it..l love nokia lumia 630 it very good to me ..no lumia 950xl..no store windowphone 10..

with the latest update, there is no problem at all. i love using this os now. and the good news is that there is an update coming in next days providing a better experience and many bug fixes. so I'm more than happy with my lumia device. i recommend buying this phone to everyone. but if you are on low budget, 640xl and lumia 830 are respectable devices too.
use windows mobile for once and you are hooked.

Microsoft Lumia 950XL Duos is expensive.
I am using this phone last three months after day before yesterday updates I format my handset bcuz I face many problems while using it last one months but now it is smooth...but one thing It is still heating issue but less than before.

Sim, 25 Mar 2016Mine too I cant set a song i like. You can set it at setting>personalization>sounds. For customize message and other apps sound you can go at the bottom manage app sounds.

Got my lumia 950 xl dual sim version yesterday, it is very good, better than any phone I've used. First thing I did was reset the phone then entered my microsoft ID within wifi on. Updated all my apps, I was good to go, no lag, no shut down, no over heating, excellent battery life. All apps working perfectly. The OS is very fast and smooth, it like cutting butter with a hot knife.
The keyboard has directional arrows for easy navigation and can still be manually adjusted with your finger, keyboard can be customized or adjusted, keyboard can be moved around, swipe keyboard still the best, drop down menu with more shortcuts, iris scanner works excellently at all times even in total darkness (but you most saved your iris in total darkness).
I simply love my lumia 950 xl.

Tried the Lumia 950 XL, the phone is good and looks even better with a Mozo cover but my views about Windows 10 are somewhat mixed. I really liked that with Windows 10 number of available apps have improved significantly however there were few things that looked quite odd to me. First is the drop down settings which feels and looks bit too much like the Android drop down settings. The file manager looks as if it has been copied from BlackBerry 10. The search bar above menu, of course it is useful but again it looks oddly similar to the search bar on Android menu. Then there is this new feature to reply messages without opening them by reply option on message notification, copied straight from BlackBerry 10. My point is that Windows Phone aren't a bad, truth be told I like them more than Android and BlackBerry 10 but unlike Windows Phone 8.1 which was unique and felt like one of its kind Windows 10 lacks originality. It feels as if someone took features from Android and BlackBerry 10 devices and combined them with the Windows Phone OS and then launched it in the market as a new OS.

Latest version on insider is 14295.1000, and not updated on their flagship. Either 586 is last year version, so what is MSoft doing bullshit.

rohith, 19 Mar 2016may i know why in windows mobiles we could not set a var... moreYou're kidding right, I'm using 640 XL Dual and I can set different ringtone for sms, calls, different contacts, different apps like fb, whatsapp etc. On the other hand, I tried to my husband's phone, Galaxy S5 Neo with android lollipop, it can't be done, it only applies one ringtone for all calls, one ringtone for sms and one ringtone for all apps.
WP might not have the most complete apps yet like snapchat or path and some still beta. But there are things that android phones can't do as wp. Hope microsoft keeps improving and I m still of course waiting for windows 10 upgrade. hope it's soon
