Outside looks sheek. But unfold inside looks old tech. Like blast to the past, with such screen space and camera notch design, not worth the price. It would had been success if launch in early 2010.

If it had NFC and about twice as much battery I'd be extremely tempted. As it is, not so much.

The camera seems kinda bad, but like whatever, it’s not the focus of the device. The battery is tiny though.

You’re paying for the brand, design (unlike norm devices with same physical blueprint), tech, and vision of Microsoft for that kind of price. It may not be overwhelming on its specs sheet but let’s see how it performs in the long haul.

dbjungle, 14 Aug 2020I think this an interesting and possibly revolutionary idea... moreThis device is all about usability, new ways to use the regular android OS to get yourself more productive, here's their demo:

                              https://youtu.be/R1CNwBzYqRs

Obviously many regular users don't need the versatility, for those paying the $1200-$1400 is out of the question.

Johnedlt, 14 Aug 2020Who will buy an un-proven $1400 phone? The galaxy fold was an unproven nearly $2000 phone and about a million have been sold.

And let me tell you, you run no risks with this device because it has no flexible screen, most of those screens are going to be failing one way or the other as time passes.

Worst thing it can happen to you with the DUO is that you don't find the device comfortable or useful and then you sell it.

I think this an interesting and possibly revolutionary idea. My biggest problems with it are the form factor when folded looks super clunky and the price. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that this is an early adopter device and hopefully things continue to evolve into a more practical way.

The bezel size reminds me of iPhone 3G, only that was in 2008 and we are in 2020. Microsoft is giving very inferior equipment for the price considering also what is there already in the market. But.... it's a good start.

If only it came with full Windows 10 and Android it would be a very interesting device... But it's only a semi modern version of the Sony Tablet P.
