Moto Razr 2022 arrival reportedly delayed

Yordan, 21 July 2022

Motorola is expected to bring a Edge X30 Pro/Edge 30 Ultra smartphone this month with a 200MP camera. We also hoped to learn more about the arrival of the Razr 2022 during the event, but reports from China suggest the clamshell is delayed with no updated timeline of arrival.

The Moto Razr 2022 was confirmed already by company officials to be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. We expect little change in the overall design, but an even bigger cover screen and improved cameras - 50MP main and 32MP on the inside.

The first smart Razr arrived in fall 2019, followed by a 5G version a year later. However, none of the phones had true flagships internals yet, which could have contributed to the limited sales they saw. Obviously the very limited availability was the main culprit, though as the phones weren't without their fair share of fans.

Whether or not this will continue with the Razr 2022, we will have to wait and see when the new version eventually arrives.

If they don't get this one right they will never sell anymore again. They need long battery life and a flush camera that is actually decent just take the camera off the oppo Reno 2!!!

motorola is an american company. why so they promo in China first?

I just read another report that said it will be introduced August 2nd. It's been about 2 years since the last one so Moto can resent the cycle but I'm not sure releasing it a week before the Flip is a good idea.
