This phone is highly recommendable because of its phenomenal battery-life, size, and ease of use. It works like a charm with whichever carrier you pop a SIM card in from.

It's also $30-35 so what do you expect. If you want ringtones buy a better phone. You get what you pay for in life.. As long as it rings and sounds fine that is OK (For the Price) It's a basic phone.

This phone totally sucks..It would not suck if it could have ringtones...But you can only have the ringtones on there.I spent about 10 dollars on trying to download ringtones and it does not work...YOU CAN NOT DOWNLOAD RINGTONES ON THIS PHONE!!! IF YOU ARE SMART DONT GET THIS PHONE...

I've been using C139 for nearly a year now & it's great.It's lightweight,cute and durable.My C139 fell on many occasion I haven't had any problems with it as yet.

this phone is really cute. i've been enjoying the long talk time but recently having problems dialling out. can't reach out to my friends right this moment and it isn't a network problem.

Este dia compre este telefono a solo $29.38 en digicel de El Salvador y hasta me regalaron una mochila, ya lo travesie y me parecio un telefono bastante BASICO que a fin de cuentas solo lo necesito para hablar y no para apantallar, aunque el diseño del telefono es bastante coqueto.
En nuestro pais con semejante delicuencia que hay es mejor llevar un telefono como este porque si te lo roban no te dolerá mucho y facilmente compras otro modelo con las mismas prestaciones sin afectar de forma critica tu presupuesto.

This is good basic phone. I'm using c139 for six months.
1. Good color TFT display.
2. Good design.
3. Good battery life.
cons:
1. Limited SMS storgage capacity Inbox 20, Outbox 10 to 15 messages.
2. Battery charging takes 2 to 2.5 hours.
What is the memory of this phone? How can I edit the sms in outbox or transfer it to Inbox. How can I delete game and download new once.

I bought my Moto C139 today and hey guys, this phone is cute.I mean for anyone concerned about buying a phone which does what its meant for-ie making and receiving calls + texting of cause.
Good attributes to this phone as of my three hours with it are :
-clear sound on the receiver,
-sexy design,
-very-very comfortable key pad,
-Oooh! that it as of now I will bring more as I continue exploring this lovely phone.

A phone should be---- JUST THAT: a phone.
If I want to download, I use a computer.
Send or receive TEXT meassages, an email program or IM--- again, on a computer.
Take pictures: a digital camera.
No wonder so many are having accidents (some fatal) while operating a motor vehicle.
The Motorola C139 IS an excellent value--- if you comprehend the definition of 'phone'.

I know for a fact with all the sience of natural human strenth in my brain that there is a way to upgrade this phones ("APPLICATIONS")
We need someone with electronic technologically advanced system intelligence. To find a way that people can modify the C139 Cingular Wireless Motarola cell phones.
I want to find out how it was programmed and how I can edit the information to add more funtions.
There must be a way to add more ringtones and the only real way to find this out is finding out each and every electronic microchip to modify. Changing the chips or additions for the chips if need be. There should be updates by motarola or cingular and it should install faster easyer system data for there customers who need customization.
There are many laws and regulations about music copywrite details but most inportantly the money that it would cost to design a product such as a ("Universal Cell Phone Customizer")
With an invention like this I think there would be a lot of happy customers for years to come.
Having the power to have your own cell phone company in your own cell phone.
Free by the power of your intelegence you would be smart enough to edit your cell phone in your own personal prefrence with out buying minutes cause you wont need to pay your self.
The real issue of this matter must be because this phone is a cheap phone and it's used for fast easy straight to the point communication.

i have had this fone 4 about a year and 3 months and i get so sick of it. All my mates have cool flip, camera phones and i'm stuck with this, it doesn't even have a voice recorder. I really need a new one because all the keys are starting to break but my parents think its still fine, huh! Think again.

i like this little phone..mine holds a charge for 6 days..and its more or less an emergency cell phone..takes a couple hours to charge..but.i NEED more ring tones..i can input 3 of my own..any one know where to find some?

mine didn't even come with the lousy cheap ringtones they come with, not ONE! my mom got the same phone a few months ago, hers had the usual stupid ringtones they usually come with, mine did not. and i don't know how to compose music on this stupid thing. i've had it one day and it sucks.

i have had this phone for 5 months now and i thnk its a good phone for people that are technology challenged, but if you want a sufisticated phone this is not the one, i hate it. it holds no battery, money goes out guickly, and its hard to see the screen(its dark. The ringtones stink, and it doesnt hold alot of information.

I have the C139 and i think it is the worse phone I have ever had. Found my money goes fast and I use it only 3-4 times a week spent 100 bux the first month and only used roughly 12 times and the longest call was only 5 minutes
