A good phone. Looks mch more xpensive den it is. got it for 4950 TK. with a years warrenty. It comes with data cable. Now users oppinion.. The cam as mch appreciated isnt dat gr8 actually my cx65 wz way better. Batt dies in 1 day abt 2 hr of talkin and min use of other apps. Mine dosnt hv da IM app. Ring vol is on da low side. vibra is ok.. mostly felt. screen is very good. but i dnt undastnd y afta a min nothn is on da screen looks as if da fone is off. i kno nd used alot of color screens nd kno dis isnt normal. but evn unda sun da display is visible. ders a red light whc lights up wen chargin. full chargin takes 3 hrs!!

the one having prob with da data cable must have the software to upload or download pics and ringtone.u should be provided with a CD.da data cable should be inserted in the HEADPHONE point.i am using it.the software is really cool and ez to handle.The only prob is the low memory

I'm interested in buying this phone, but read somewhere in a review that on this phone, it actually costs to receive text messages unlike other tracfones. Is this true?

Sam, the TracFone version of the C261 certainly works well in my area of the USA. But the TracFone version is available only from TracFone, a USA-based prepaid service. With TracFone, she can probably talk from the USA to you in the UK and only be charged normal minutes- this is a great feature of TracFone. They still offer the phone, 600 minutes, one year, for US $130. There may be other C261 offers in the USA right now from other providers, but I'm unaware of them. If interested ck out www.TracFone.com- you'll need her zip code to see if it's available in her area.

bought the phone today... i must admit, it's pretty neat for a cheap cam-phone. i really don't care that there isn't a calender, i never use that darn thing anyway. as for the camera, it's top quality. i really would like, tho, if i cud have realtones, but i guess i cant be too picky. on the other hand, it's a looker so if u like style, then this fone's got it. it's great!

OES, I sent you the C261 Owner's Manual as an email attachment, check your email & see if it came through. It's in PDF format, ~2.6 MB, you will need Adobe Reader to open & read it. Good luck, please let me know if it came through or not. ;)

I bought a Motorola C261 mobile phone whose instruction manual in in a language other than the ones I can read or write. I am not able to key in contacts nor am I able to write sms with the phone. It is almost becoming worthless and my frustration is almost at its peak. please how can you help me? I speak English Language and would like to get a guide in English. I have tried downloading this from your website but has not been able to make it. Olease help me.

EEk. I messed up on my last one. The ringtones on the tracfone site aren't free. they cost 1.49...which isn't bad cuz thats not a lot at all.
