I have Defy with CM7 on it and I can say that I would recommend it to anyone.Reception and sound quality is great,the screen is amazing for its price range,it moves really fast after upgrade and the build quality is very good.Long live Moto Defy ;)

Hello all,
I am unable to play some videos on my DEFY. The videos are playing wihout any sound. The format of the video is .avi
I am facing the issue with only few videos, some videos of the same .avi format are playing without any issues.
Facing the issue with only few videos. But when I play the same video on GALAXY S, it is playing without any problem.
Can some one tell me, what might be the reason and what can be the solution for DEFY

me using defy since October and cyanogen 2.3.7 version makes it fantastic...visit xda developers and have a look...

Hi all! Posting back after installing CyanogenMod 7.1 stable by Quarx (11-11-11 build). I am completely blown away by the speed and performance!. Excellent! Can handle 1 Ghz of CM7 perfectly fine, although battery life has been reduced because of that. I get a little better battery life using JuiceDefender. Waiting for CM9 now i.e. ICS! :)

Its a great phone I have been using it for a while, I does have a problem with data services, turn off background services to improve browsing speed and battery life, haven't tested its ruggedness and water resistance, over all very good phone.....

The Motorola Defy is the most unstable phone I have ever owned. I've had other Motorola phones before (non-smart) and they were decent. I'm using my third Defy and my second battery in less than a year; this third phone has locked up dozens of times under normal use (no excess heat, moisture, or impacts). I bought it based on the positive traits and reviews, but have since lost my love for the Defy.

i havee had about 2 motorola's and there pretty good to.
or it could just be emy good luck i dont know. but none of then eve done wrong to me
