[deleted post]as a defy user im telling defy has got a lot hidden features that equals a high end smartphone with its reasonable price..only if you ready to root and use custom roms....its powerful and durable! or if you want to remain on official rom then go for neo....

Motorola DEFY has NO GORILLA GLASS, dropped accidentally from 1,5 m on display and shattered like iphone 4s. gsmarena please modify the phone specs to scratch resistant display. Shame on you Motorola

micky, 04 Dec 2011m using motorola defy from last month ..i use a 8gb card ..... moreupgrade to official froyo 2nd release. its very stable.
or you can try CyanogenMOD 7 or MIUI. both of them are custom gingerbread releases. stable and cool new functions.

m using motorola defy from last month ..i use a 8gb card ..wit 4 gb still free . not many application hv been downloaded from android ..but is trubling me lot as it hangs every now n den .. n it is very slow ..m just fed of it ..can any one suggest me any thing ..or do i need to update d version 2.2 froyo to gingerbread,,,,pls tell me ...how to make it fast

A very impressive phone for the price. Very fast and excellent screen. Even usable in direct sunlight.
Don't care for MotoBlur software. The keyboard is almost impossible to use, letter spacing to close together. This can be fixed with 3rd party keyboard from Android Market.
I flashed a 3rd party ROM to get Gingerbread. Now it is an awesome phone.
