I just can't fault this phone. Motorola came out of nowhere with this phone and made a big splash! 4 row qwerty keyboard, hsdpa and wifi, an autofocus camera... There's even gps on this thing and i can't believe the price! Only problem will be avalability. I just hope it will be available with vodafone or orange. I only use vodafone for internet, but if orange brings this first, i'll switch over to them.:)
Also, to the guy who complained about the lack of forward facing camera: are you freaking kidding me? I own 2 phones with 3g and front cameras and i never made a video call. Never! And i have unlimited 3g. Problem is few people have that too and that negates the entire concept. Here's to 3 years or more of having and not using video calls!

cookie D, 13 Sep 2009I'm a big fan of nokia..but these phone seems cool.. Can so... moreI bought N97 so did a few friend of mine a month back in India. Out of the box and it hangs on its first boot up. There after always hanging. 3 patches updated but no use. My friends with similar issue. Its a very hurriedly put up phone that was long overdue in 2008 so features are out dated compared to smarter phones announced in past 3 months.
Nothing is impressive. You better have a 20/20 vision bcos this phone has very small (micro) icons and name tags on icons are not readable with magnifying glass. I am kicking myself for buying this phone at Indian Rupees 33K. ( approx US$690/-)
I BEG YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM NOKIA N97. Unless someone lets you have a test drive for free on N97 you dont even touch it.

Basically moto is famous for their design and body build but the main disadvantage is their battry life is too much low. I was using Moto V8 but its battry life was too short..question is does the same problem consist with this phone also??

i like moto because its diferent to all
this like keybord with 4navigation key at left are great for use and u just find it at moto dext
and very beter design and features than x2 & n900
