For me, Android is too locked-down. Maemo vs Android, in terms of openess:

                  - Maemo allows to dual-boot (run other OS simultaneously), while Android doesn't.
                  - Android only allows to save apps in the tiny internal memory, this isn't an issue in Maemo.

                  We have a clear winner!

When every brands play with java based OS Motorola relapsed first Linux smart phone in A and E series
MOTOROLA sailed more than 5 million A1200 Linux smart phones since 2007
A1200 mobile phone using modern Intel 350MHz processor, when Nokia using arm 70 MHz and 130 MHz also people can over clock this powerful processor near 700 MHz
Motorola Linux smart phones is favorites phone for developers and professionals it mans
Because you can change your IP address connect to you office network and using g file sharing

Undefined, 12 Sep 2009Ok Here i will show about arm cortex a8 processor The ARM ... more:D HE HE

The MSM7201A is an ARM-based, dual-core CPU/GPU from Qualcomm and contains many built-in features, including 3G and a GPU capable of up to 4 million triangles/sec. It has hardware acceleration for Java,[22] base they are targeted to the Dalvik VM, not the Java VM.

Yes GPU capable of up to 4 million triangles/sec
MSM7201A BASED ON ARMv11 But The ARM CortexTM-A8 processor based on ARM7
Can you compare Intel Pentium 4 3.4 GHz with Intel Pentium quad core 2 GHz
                        Everything is not frequency
Modern pc processors must have MMX, SSE, SSE3, SSSE3, and EMT64
And modern mobile Processors should have instructions like
ISP (Image Signal Processor) ,Vector floating point
Image Processor Unit, Video Encoder/Decoder Units

If ARM Cortex A8 support good performance why Nokia using PowerVR SGX graphics?
You must know YOU can’t compare advanced Android OS performance with Nokia Maemo 5
                        Android need better hardware .

Finally a winner from moto. This could be a great one if priced correctly say between 200$-300$ without contract.
