If Motorola wanted a surefire winner, they should have atleast added an AMOLED screen and a FM radio to this model. I won't buy this otherwise nice phone.

Cant wait for the droid 2/droid-pro world series to be release worldwide...hoping it will reach here in the philippines w/in this year.. Another great phone moto!!samsung galaxy s just arrived here but motorola android phones is still the king of android..

Wonder when its gsm version will come to india! As of now, europe will be getting milestone2 in nov-dec. Maybe it reaches asia by mar-apr nxt yr. But by that time, maybe windows7 extravaganza will steal its hype n glow. Which phone should i go for in the meantime on my b'day in nov? Sammy wave is cheapest of all costly android biggies!

OMG... not right... Droid 2 is a GSM phone just like the droid. It came with 1 GHz processor and of course android 2.2 (froyo)......
HD 720p video capturing and playback....
A magnificent phone except the screen. Why only the droid X has its 4.3 inch... Hope the droid pro will be better

anyways, whatever it will called later, i think i will buy it ^^
because this month when i want to buy milestone it's not sold anymore in my place :(
hope next month this phone is really release for world and hope that this phone's performance will be as great as milestone ^^

danial, 19 Aug 2010can any one plz tell me how are we ganna conect to internet... morewell if i'm not wrong, CDMA's internet connection is not GPRS ... i forgot what it call but what i remember is CDMA's 3G connection called EVDO
so it's still can connect internet even without GPRS because is use CDMA not GSM

and... moreDroid it is a commercial name use by Verizon which means no company can you that name. That why we don't only have Moto Droid, Droid 2 or Droid x but also HTC Droid Eris and Droid incredible.
So Droid only for Verizon. Cellular South also provide Droid in USA but named it Milestone.
