Here some good news TMobile will receive a upcoming Moto water proof allowing it more than 10 meters deep in the water and still android phone.

Sprint and Boost Mobile may have
the Motorola i1 rugged handset all to
themselves, but it appears that T-
Mobile is prepping to launch a
mighty competitor to that model.
A new Motorola smartphone running
Android and going by the codename
Jordan is set to be released by T-
Mobile in November.
What’s interesting about this
handset is that, unlike other rugged
handsets, it will apparently be
completely waterproof down to 10
meters (33 feet). It’s also supposed
to be IP67 certified, which means
“no dust ingress, complete
protection against contact” in IP
code.
However, according to the code, that
“7″ in “IP67″ means that “ingress of
water in harmful quantity shall not
be possible when the enclosure is
immersed in water under defined
conditions of pressure and time (up
to 1 m of submersion)”, which does
contradict the aforementioned
claims of the Jordan being
waterproof down to 33 feet.
1 meter or 10 meters, we’ll surely
find out soon which it is. And in any
case, this will be one smartphone
you won’t be afraid to subject to the
elements or take with you wherever
you go – even to the desert or for a
dive.

[deleted post]Man keep voting down this phone and all hater can do so but Moto will still go ahead. Look Droid Pro is not release yet. This will come with 1.3Ghz, videocall and everything droid x have but with better GPU than DX. Droid Pro will be GSM/CDMA means it will be release world wide in november with Gingerbread or Froyo. Also Droid 2 version GSM/CDMA world wide. Not to mention the Moto Table 10 inch with 2Ghz, videocall and more. Then with such things Moto's doing how do you want me to change?

We have really good news, Moto reveled 2 GSM and CDMA phones. The Droid 2 new version and Droid Pro 1.3Ghz according to the CEO Moto will add videocall on in lastest devices also a Tablet coming with 2Ghz and run Gingerbread this one have videocall. The 3 moto devices will be world wide because it GSM and CDMA. Enjouy

This is a pretty sweet deveice baised off it's specs, yeah it looks a little bit like the orginal Droid, but why change what works. I'd be nice to see this come though on the GSM side, I've just ordered the new Milestone, which isn't packing the same processor, but it's still repectable. I'm excited for it, I like the Droid line, I think this really helped get the Android OS off the ground because no one knew or cared about it much until these phones came out. Just compare some release dates to the original droid and then too when other droid phones came out.
What is up with the cell phone essay. Ok you want the latest thing we get it. Personally if you think Samsung are innovators your sadly mistaken. Yeah right now they are, because they just came out with the next thing, wait 3 months there will be a million Galaxy S phones and they'll all be the same. They did the same thing back with the Ultra Edition line back in the day. I know this because I own the D900, and the Original Soul, only for 2 weeks later a discount version of each comes out packing the same features.

[deleted post]Please I'm not Droid x anymore. I'm Droid Pro Okay? For does said that Droid 2 have a problem, it is the truth but no one knows if it a software or hardware issus. No informations reveled the real matter and in addition it is not all Droid 2 that have that problem.

does not support true HD recording (720p/+)...comes only at 480....something motorola decided to alterate..real miss

No this phone does not have 720p recording and nor does it has hdmi out GSMA are bit wrong on specs. I m sayin in it coz i know and i m using droid x which has all this things and i have tested this device too at verizon store. But all in all this is pretty good device but i like my DX better. Bigger screen and .all the goodies u can have in a phone

Careful before buying this phone. Antennagate is back, only this time its on the Droid 2, and better than ever. Why? Cos you don't even have to touch it a certain way, you don't have to touch it at all!
