I said before, only AT&T gsm bands are blocked(850/1900). This bands are used in US. The rest of the world uses 900/1800 bands.
On top of that, the blocking is software made. So, a litle tweakings is enough to make it work for AT&T also.It was possible with HTC TP2 CDMA version, it's possible with D2G. Just look on XDA my friend ;)
Search on ebay, 50 USD to get the unlock code for the rest of the world.

Great Phone!
Coming from the Samsung Vibrant, I can't begin to tell tell you how please I am with this phone.
I am amazed by the speed, and how everything is so snappy. There is no lag at all, the GPS receiver pinpoints my location instantly, and the physical keyboard is just great.
Cons: none.
I would definitely recommend!

If your country offers CDMA, i.e. China and Korea, there "might" be a chance for your country to get this. Otherwise....

If it doesn't work worldwide, why do you think the phone is called "global"?

ANOTHER AWESOME PIECE OF EQUIPMENT by the fantastic guys at MOTO LAND!!!!!!
They even throw in a 1.2 gh cpu with accelerated graphics. WITH mini HDMI.....
