The XT912 version has NO GSM network connectivity, ONLY CSMA. It can be found on the Motorola US site when comparing 2 device (e.g. http://www.motorola.com/Consumers/US-EN/Consumer-Product-and-Services/ch.Mobile-Phones.compare?pMotProductsToCompare=78281_73912&productId=78281&productId=73912). Specs on GSMArena need to be corrected. I nearly ordered one from the US because of the 4G support, but luckily decided to check the specs for the US model.

Firstly like to APPRECIATE motorola for bringing in such a masterpiece........this Droid is an answer to the galaxy s 2 and trust me this gadget is outstanding ......everything jus comes perfect wid this one....

....I am glad that Motorola is making the right moves; I almost bought Xperia arc S but I have to think about splash resistant, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 7 mm, Gorilla glass,...and of course 12 hour talking time....Droid HD..
I am tied of heavy, thick (>12mm) Nokia with maximum two days between charging....
