Hi guys,
A friend brought this fone to me for selling it.
The fone has a big '3' symbol on its bak, but its working with other local GSM networks too, I used my own SIM to chek it out. I wanna kno if this fone is unlocked yet or not?
Guys, pls help me out...
is it locked...?
how to findout if its locked or not?
Does a locked fone work for other network providers....too?
Pls pls pls help Guys as I am interested in buying it.
Tx in advance...
also wats UMTS...is it better than EDGE or are they totally different techs.
I heard EDGE is used for watching TV. Does UMTS support that too?
and How r the games in it?
does it hav rythemic lights as in e398.
Guys...bye!

I like this phone. Plenty of features, although
extremely poor battery life (mine just 2 d in stanby mode). I have a silly problem synchronizing the Outlook calendar with the phone using Mobile Phone Tools. The dates are transferred between the PC and the Phone with one hour time difference. Any help?

I think it is the greatest phone ever! The 3g technology makes the phone inseperable from one.

Pleeeease help me. My mate just bust my mp3 player : (, so i figured i'd get an mp3 phone to replace it instead of a dedicated mp3 player. (Stupid really i guess, but i can't afford both). I was wondering how long the battery on the E1000 will keep me going playing WMA format (highest bit rate) music.
Thanks much people.

I ran into a motorola rep yesterday and according to him if you e-mail motorola to complain about the battery life they will send you a free battery. I dont know if this is only here by us. I guess it is worth a try

It's quite stable and clear when you are viewing stream video on web...and it can be viewed in full screen as well...when you press the key pads to write sms, it's comfortable...The more you know how to use the key pad..

In reply to phil rudrams post.
yes you can use the phone whilst charging it...it's exactly like plugging it into the wall seriously how is it different? There are not too many buttons to access 3G and clearly you CAN program your own soft keys as well as rearrange the whole menu. If you bothered to read the manual you would have known this already and doesnt this phone have a VERY similiar menu system to the razor? after all they are both motorolas

The batery life is very poor. You can't charge it with a car charger and use it at the sametime.Too many buttons to access 3G. Why can't you programe your own soft keys.Basic functionality not as logical as the Motorola Razor
