i got the e1000 three days ago and i like it alot BUT how i gods name cane you down load video files from the pc to the phone i understand that it doest rconize mpeg files but what does it reconize... help us pls

stephen - thanks for info re battery and yes i find it's improving. mp3 to wav - thanks tip, trying. problem now on music and photo transfer is that the connection cuts off as soon as i open one of the media programs - the phone is connected untill the wizard opens and the transfer buttons are no longer highlighted. i was successfully ones with pic transfer but that's it, any tip on settings or otherwise?

This phone is rubbish cos when i dropped in the stream it broke! Bad quality build cos im always dropping my phone out of my bedroom window!

My mate has just got this fone, its pretty cool but is it better than a Samsung D500? Oh yeah and that V3 argument - i think that the V3 looks bad, it's too wide, but the E1000 also needs 2 go on a diet!

ahhh ok thanks for that insight...so does anyone actually use the e1000 for sat nav? or is that not available yet?
also anyone know any good wap or gprs sites to go to with this phone?

the reason that the light stays on when charging was for the purpose of Sat Nav in the car. So if the phone was in its cradle and you were using it then you would not loose the link by tought the buttons to ge tthe light back on. This was not a desighn fault it was adapted for this purpose.

yeah the light stays on while charging if the phone is on...it's silly but definitely not a defect. i find that opening an app in the background (such as the media player) turns the light off during charging
and billy try changing your mp3's to wma format with windows media player or another program...you'll also find that the battery life increases significanty after a few complete charge discharge cycles...i'm serious!

i can't transfer mp3 from my pc to the phone, say's mp3 may not be encoded - any tips?
just bought the phone, happy with it but the camera is no good and battery cap is low also when not using rich features. also, the email capacity is a joke and basically of no use since it's cuts of the messages after receiving the heading almost....

Hi,
I just bought a new e1000 and found that the backlight stays on when i charge the phone. does anyone else have the same problem? Please help if u know a way to get around the issue. Thanx

video recording goes for 3 minutes on my phone not sure about the claims that it could be lower on phones locked to the vodaphone network

just bought of ebay and it should arrive in a week or so. just wondering how long the max video recording time is. anyone know?
