Khamis all u would need to do is to go in Phonebook, press menu, scroll to Setup, scroll to Search Method, press change, select Find. And walla! U can enter the name of the person to find their number.; )

I love this mobile, the only issue I have is, I cannot search by name, when I need a no. I have to scroll on the way to get the no. Can someone help.

i had the phone for almost 2 yrs.and it fell for more than 5 times but it's still working well.i should say that it's durable. too hard to find casings for e398.

I bought 2 of these model phones last year for my sons and they have been an absolute piece of junk. The charging connection is terrible and th follow up service is none.

hi i got this phone 2 years ago and the sound i can say is the best! but this phone lags too.my problem is my message alert is not working.i cannot get into "ring styles(loud)>loud detail" menu.so whenever i recieve a message,the ringtone doesnt come out.anyone pls help me...

u can lock most of all applications n dont worry about it..diz phone is greater than L7..
only the design can challenge dat phone..tq

i have dis fone for about 3yrs & its still kicking...but my problem is its housing...it does loosing its color..can i buy another housing? where? can i change its housing? how? thanks..

Hello all!
I got one! It's cool! I can't compare E398 with SE W8..., because E398 have a great clarity 3D surround sound, bass, and nice vibration who expand when you putch the phone on the big table or anything else! I'm desapointed because is very slow and I using 512MB transflash. And I have problems -like a another people- with USB cable (I buy 2 USB with software -now is in the garbage because don't working);but is working bluetooth. It's old,and I most to buy a modern phone!:D Anyway, it's in my heart this phone!

Hi, i have had this E398 for ages and fell in love with it when i first got it, but then i tried to install skins/themes and games but my phone wouldn't connect to the P2K programS i have tried over nad over again and have eventually given up. I recently read the article on flasjing and am seriously concidering it. What is flashing, where do i get it, what do i do and what may be the repucutions. PLEASE I REALY NEED SOME HELP PLEASE THKS

This phone is still running great despite after 3 years it is launched.I have it for abt 2 years and i dont get any problems except for the joystick losing a bit.And the sound quality is great,i dont find any phone with a stereo speaker nowadays except for nokia 6233.

i love this phone and its great mp3 sound.the only problem is the phone memory is to little.is there any way i can delete the original moto tones so can be able to use mp3 songs as my ringtones?please help am in dilema.
