You can use 1GB card freely. Of course when you will browse the songs it will lag but it wont do you problems at all. Happy time. Chenkui

guys get this phone. ive had it for 2 years, no probs. plus u can update the firmware to the rokr e1 so u have video rec and itunes!! check it out... www.e398mod.com

I do love the phone, but I get those error after 13 month I used it.... First it just the signal receiver get error.. later on the battery usage life deduct then the all software seems laging and so on the charger head get easy loose

Yes ..I have one...with my Firmware is working 1gb Micros Sd by Kingstone....But...if you don't have a good mood and you put in him 1gb memory card you will burn the phone...i try this with the original firmware and then i must go with him at phone service :| Sorry for my english...I like the phone...but the battery is low very low ...about 3hours when play music in external speacker and 7 hours when play's on HandsFree...and 2 day's in stand by...

The phone is incredible! I have it for two years and it still works fine! I'm going to buy SE Z550i othervise E398 is all-time best

how come you cant put all type of songs on eg- mp4 wav, and also how do u make all the songs work because if i try to put a song on it doesnt play properly it skips half way through.

changing SMS alert tones -- go to Settings (toolbox icon >> Ring Styles >> choose your Style (loud, soft, vibrate, etc) >> (style) Detail >> 5th line: Txt msgs >> hit right button (Change) >> Choose your tone . There you go!

I buying a new TransFlash card. The original pack comes with a 64, I wanted to buy a 512, can this device support up to 512? (64... can't do anything with it...)

Since my previous post, no one gave me a solution, so I dare myself to flash it. (first time doing it), and luckily its success.. now my hp can use Itunes, video recorder, sound recorder, new skin, a bit faster speed. :) I love this phone again..

I have a same problem with 1 of forummer here.. from yesterday, suddenly i can't open my phonebook. When I tried to open, it bounce back. and another problem is, when i connect my phone to pc, they can't find usb modem driver. Where can i find it? previously my hp can connect to pc, but now it seems like MPT can't detect my phone. only usb device can detect. other program also can't detect my phone.
