has anyone encountered a problem with the phone getting quite warm? i have never had this happen with any other model.....

To Francesco-This phone has the best audio among all GSM phones available today...regarding the earphones, sound quality is average but it's pretty easy to use better headphones...you just need a 3.5mm to 2.5mm converter. As for the software, it's a bit sluggish at times, specially when you play mp3s but that has ben resolved with the new firmware...it doesn't lag as much anymore.
To Preetkk-as far as I know, the package comes with the phone, the battery, a 64mb transflash card with an SD adapter, a CD containing the software and some other stuff you could put into the phone, the earphones, and the manual.

please anyone could tell if this phone has decent audio , stereo also in earphones and if it's fast or sluggish slow software .. I have to decide if to get one or not before tomorrow , i don't want a slow phone....

Hi..can anyone tell me how to interface the E398 with Linux? The phone has great features for music so want to transfer my music into it.Has anyone been thru it before?

Hi guys do you guys have any good links to download free games for the phone etc.. How do you actually transfer the game onto the phone. Do we need another software? Many thanks

It should come with a USB Cable and a CD with the software.

if u r using older ver of s/w u can't chg it back 2 voice dial.
u've 2 master reset it, then only it'll b chg back 2 it's original

i've just uploaded a winxp theme 2 my fone fr

there is Start~up n Power~down sound in it but i can't get the Power~down sound 2 work
i only manage 2 get the start up sound works
i've uploaded both the sounds to the audio folder wt p2k
i deleted the original Start~up sound n replace it.
i can't find the Power~down sound, so i just uploaded it but it doesn't work
can any 1 tell me how 2 do it

well I have a problem. after flashing to 95r and flexing to 7f it has the usb to memory card option. so I set the usb setting to memory card but when I plug it to my computer it asks for a driver. what do I do? I use win98

edit-->Of course it has problems...there's no perfect phone out there! You just have to know how to get around those problems. ^_^x And there is a way to put video recording in this phone, but you'll lose the capability to use the Transflash card.

dis fone is almost perfect. Da sad thing is that it cant record video clips. I heard dis fone has 2 much problems but ill buy it if u can put camcorder in dis fone.
