be very careful when you charge this unit with the supplied charger since a lose connection can easily occur when the plug attached to the unit is moved. the service fellow told me that something within the phone easily bends and results to non charging.

96R is available in the Philippines but only thru Authorized Motorola Service Centers.
95R is available on the net.
My flex version is still original as when I bought it - GSKE398T672EB061
There are flexes out but again check www.howardforums.com to know more. I suggest you try to learn everything first before trying to flex/flash your phone. It will void any warranty. DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I would flash and flex this phone. But I can't, unless I get a PC. Since it cannot be rushed. People, to upload games to ur phone without flashing, join zedge.no and upload your jar, then login via wap and put into phone.

does any1 know whether v can chg the msg sound alert or not?
i accidentally deleted the msg sound file, when i try 2 reload the sound back it doesn't work, so now no sound play when there is incoming msg.
any1 know how 2 resolve tis?

Regi: I bought mine in Dubai and the S/W version is 59R. Texting is very annoying; there is a lag time of 2 seconds b4 u can proceed to the next letter on the same key. Is texting now faster in the 96R S/W version?

I`m looking at this phine and k700 , because they are kind of the same at looks and price . Looking at the specifications i believe that k700 is better at features but E398 looks a bit better. I don`t know the performance , because i can`t have them to test them. I don`t know what to choose. K700 or E398 ?
