i finally made up my mind and went for a software upgrade today now i have R372_G_0E.20.8ER S/W and the difference i am noticeing are ,now i have USB setting under my connection with which my phone is now detected as a external drive (which quicken my MP3 transfer by around 10 times) also my videos have become a lil less jerky and that irritating pop sound from the keys has dissapeared . Also now i have new java MP3 player which does not work as of now but looks really cool , words selection for smsing has become faster and the 5 second lag to diplay the name of the person calling during an incomeing call has dissapeared also . overall it has made my great phone greater ;-)

I need help. My e398 just suddenly stopped detecting my T-Flash card. I turned the phone off and on, still the same result. I re-inserted the flash card, still the same result. Any suggestions?

i'm thinking of buying this one. is'it better than NOKIA 6600?
-->Like I said to the person who asked a comparison with the 7610, the 6600 is a smart phone. This is a multimedia phone. And comparing the two is like comparing apples with oranges.

Good phone from Motorola so far with great and advance feature compared with some highly prized Nokia phone. Lacks of Voice Recorder and video function and Address fields is limited. Overall good phone and no doubts about it.
