you need to ring up your telco and get them to set up MMS for you. if they have already done so they will tell you how to enable your phone to receive MMS.

i didn't bother flash n flexing me phone. I can have unlimited uploaded downloads from zedge.no and I used GoldWave to change the mp3 bitrates to 80 =)

The version with the t-mobile button is a customised e398 made by t-mobile. You can buy it on pay as you go and unlock. i have done so with mine, now the button takes me to O2 Online. If you want to flash your phone. Google search E398 95R. If you're too lazy to do it properly, then don't bother risking it.

how do i view picture messages sent to me?
Whenever i get a picture message it just gives me the web address and a password to get to the picture.
Surely theres a way to view received pictures on the phone.

pls help, when u connect the FM radio headset, does it play mp3 in stereo too? mine plays the radio stereo but for mp3, only the right earphone have sound.

I got the software upgrade from www.howardforums.com and flashed in a newer software on my own. Now the menu navigation, sms typing are faster. I also customized the Home screen to display my name instead of my carrier name. If you really think this is cool please look for answers in www.howardforums.com .

I noticed ther are two types of keypads for E398. one with T-zone key and one without. which one is the latest one? and where can i get the one with the T-zone key?

Good phone no doubt but if it was a Nokia you people would be complaining about how it has no radio and infrared port and give it a 7.9 for overall.

kristy, i don't know whether you can buy the software, but i would advise you to upgrade in a local motorola service or whatever you have in your town. if you do it at home you risk 'killing' your phone.
you can put 3gp and mpeg4 clips on the e 398. dowhload virtual dub or xilisoft videoconvertor or nokia multimedia player to convert the clips you have on the pc to a format suitable for the moto.

hey what's all this talk about upgrading the phone? how is this done? where do i buy the software and how much does it cost? is there any other way to store sms to phone memory? so what sort of movie clips are you guys putting on your phone? any help much appreciated. THanks!
