Also look out for the 256 T-Flash card coming out in two weeks; thats 70 MP3s. I'm sure they'll get to 1GB soon ;)

how does this compare to the Nokia 7610?
-->The E398 is a multimedia phone. As the name implies, it's main features foucus on multimedia functions. It's suits the younger crowd more.

The 7610 is a smart phone. It suits business people better than the E398.

Actually, it's like comparing apples with oranges.

            Hi there ppl,
I've had this phone for abt 3 months now, and its awesome. I've upgraded the flash(95R) and flex(se7333axxn107f), the features added are:
            1. A java mp3 player(cool)
            2. A voice recorder.
            3. SMS on phone memory(i've got 119 of them and still now warning).
            4. No LAG
            5. Videos are fast and no jerks.
            6. When i connect my phone to PC it shows as removable USB drive.

can some of you guys (and gals:) give me a link where i can download the new flex (se7333axxn107f) for the e398. i am planning to upgrade the software of my phone but up to now i have only the 95R flash and an useless 7f flex (it asks me for a password which i don't heve).
i'll be very grateful if somebody shares experience in fleshing or flexing the phone.

hey just wondering what sort of movie clips you guys are downloading? i want to put some on my phone but can't think of anything that i want. Great phone! the lag is a little annoying sometimes but its worth it. I got my screen really scratched at work the other day. i've heard you can return your phone to the distributer and pay to have all or part of the casing replaced. does anyone know if this is true? thanks guys luv kristy

a great phone. nice black color can be used in the corporate world. i traded my 6230 for this baby. cool speakers, nice battery life, phone memory is huge. can send to group of people. only downside is the messages are saved on the SIM and not phone, no IR. otherwise a great phone altogether.

the e398 stores messages only on the SIM and not on the phone. you have to upgrade to a higher capacity SIM raju.

This is a fantastic phone,I am really impressed with it and the price is great compared to some of the SE's and NOKIAs on the market in Australia. You can do loads with this phone and it has 64MB transflash card included, hepas of room to store MP#'s on and even though it has been said you cant use an MP3 as a ringtone all you have to do is transfer one over from the flash card to the phone memory and voila......you have your MP3 ringtone!!!Only one drawback is you cant do videos, even short ones, all you can do is download them. The bluetooth is great and it has the best sound I have heard yet in a phone and thats better by far than Nokia's great MP3 phone the 6230,this one has it all over the 6230 and I am way happy with it.Had no problems at all with this phone and I always said I would never get a Motorola cos I just didnt like them but now I am hooked and bought my daughter a Moto for her birthday and also got the V620 :o)
