Motorola E398

I ahve jsut bought a Motorola E398, And I wouldn't ahve a clue how to download MP3 file from my computer to my phone. I have the sftware on ym computer however i do not know how to use it.
What is the transflash disk.... and what do you do with the transflash adapter???
So confused.... any help is greatly appreciated.

pkc: try this software, it's called xilisoft video converter, or (like they said) u can check the previous posts.
to anyone that can help: why is it that whenever i transfer mpeg4 files my phone states that it's corrupted and asks to delete it?? has anyone encountered this before??

kristy , bluetooth is a device by which you can comunicate with another device having bluetooth without any cables within a specified range , like a coputer or another phone to transfer photos,audio & even video you could even buy a BT headset in which you wont have any cables only a earpiece

this phone is great! i love the mp3 player and if you take pics on high resolution from the camera and print them out they actually look pretty good from a distance. but now i have a really dumb question...what is bluetooth and how does it work? does it cost me money to use it? sorry about asking such a basic question but before this phone i had a nokia 2100! this is a huge step up for me!

hey everyone! i set my automatic cleanup of my msgs to 10 messages but i always get more and then get prompted to delete them. does anyone have any ideas about why they aren't being deleted automatically?

hey bads why worry "mein hoon na" well between a e398 and k700 i chose this phone for its good looks "matt black finish" and its stereo playback of mp3 quality ,though both the phone are nice

To Maestro: I can't seem to play MP3 on the earphones. Sound still comes out from the stereo speakers. Is there a setup to enable?
To Maical: Where to buy the Moto FM headset at very good price? How is the tuner sound quality?
To Hmm: The menu can be customize to change the buttons and layout to your liking.

hey bads sorry i can't help you as i know nothing about the sony k700. but i have the E398 and love it. but if you click on page 38 you will see people talking about the E398 vs k700. so maybe that will help.

i thought this forum was for helping peeps. i hv been requesting u guys out there to help me decide whether or not should i upgrade from nokia 3660 to e398 or sony k700 but no response. i posted my request twice on 31st and 1st.

i've dl 1 under gif when i make it as my wallpaper it doesn't work. so i would like to try yours.
n 2 the expert out there do u know which s/w can convert the normal video to the motorola format 3gp? other than tis format which format of video can the phone play?

There will never be video recorder software for this phone!!! Java apps cant record video !!!
Also, i answered that java games question 4 or 5 times !
Camera is better then t630, even a chicken would reckon that: E398 VGA camera, T630 cif camera !!!

Damn.. Stv ~ could you please tell me what good would it do if you could be able to record videos?? They would look crappy anyhow, and on a low res... and will be short.. so what's the use???
All these people whining about the lack of video capture.. if you WANT video capture, then go buy a CAMERA! Or a 1000$ phone, so that you can actually do SOMETHING with the recorder..
The phone is great.. the screen looks nice, the overall aspect is nice.. the menu is a little.. well.. childlish.. but not very much. It does lag a little when viewing videos and more when playing MP3.
And about the MP3 player.. it's great.. i wasn't interested as much in the dual stereo speakers as i was in listening to the headphones.. and i have to say that both work very good.. The speakers are loud and sound very good and the headphones even more so (i like listening to music in the headphones either way)
The camera takes some nice pictures. I can't compare it with T630 as i do not own one but you could search this site for the review of E398 and look at some pics taken with this phone and decide which one's better.

E398 ..... i so regreat buy the e398 ..
the mp3 song quit nice n the 3d speaker is good but ... the phone weekness can't record video ~ n the phone sometime open picture file will lag !! shlt tat e398 alos no program 4 e398 the price can buy nokia 6600 lo ~ oh man ....
