I have this phone but have one problem: It doesn't show location of the network tower - eg: Nokia phones shows the location of the nearest tower but this one just shows the network name like Hutch, Airtel, Orange.
Also where can I get newer skins???

C.p .. i bought it 1.4k ..
PLS think twice before you buy it .... as you know there is lot n lot NOKIA freaks out there ...
as per my case i CANT find any motolora user in my company within 300++ employees .. see how sad and miserable it
is .. !! ( what happen if you running low on battery )
another thing is YOU CANT find any FREE DOWNloadable website for this particular model too .... IF YOU GUY found out the website ..pls tell me ...

this is the best phone I've ever seen. Design and the performances are fabulous.
This should be the middle name for motorola e398 - FABULOUS or GORGEOUS. Bye

Yeah, the phone is really nice. I'd only trade it with a symbian os, 262.000 colours screen, megapixel cam, stereo handset... which doesnt exist yet, lol

This phone is really AMAZING!!! I was playing MP3 while working and placed the phone on my table. My officemates asked: where is that vibration coming from? They were surprised to know that it was coming from my E398!!! I love you you MOTO!!!

Well ... i got this phone couple of days ago .. overall is GOOD ..but the texting messenger a little messy and NO quite user friendly as Nokia... hmmm
And today i just found out that the Bluetooth usage is far different with other brand phone like SonyEricsson and Nokia ...
Why ...
YOU cant trace or search other BlueTooth ID ( which is on) in ONE dial or option ...
YOU HAVE TO select a file to move or copy to BlueTooth and searh the engine to find the correct ID to send over ... WHAT HAPPEN if you traced 20ids and accidently send to wrong person ... in mamak store ??? erhhh
Sort of getting Fxxked by other but you nvr know who is the Fxxker ..hahah

A Fantastic Phone !! Good SpeakerPhone, more then average battery life, Good stereo effects, + a good system I liked the TECHNO Skin it makes your 398 look cool !!! v300 doesnt have bluetooth and infrared. whoa...only 5mb internal memory.

and if the price were to be the nokie 3220 there's is no more quality in it.unlike nokia hp,they sell them at such a low price,it lowers the quality of the hp.
and maical..u r right.for those who wants FM RADIO,u can get it from the accessory store.
and i've tried SEk700...it sucks big time.there's not enough storage for mp3s..and from time to time u have to take care of the storage of the hp because everything is sharing the same memory card.
v300...hmmm..let's see...no memory card,no mp3 player.e398 is definately better.unless of course different people has different usage of hps.
