hello iam sathyan from chennai/india. iam presently having moto e365 and its a decent entry level model. and when i had a plan to change my model to some higher model camer phone. i didnt like 6600 coz its big and didnt have mp3 player so i opted for 6230nokia which was very costly and suddenly when i went to the market the ppl there showed a moto e398 which was great the display was great, cam clarity was great with 4x zoom with brightness adjusment and the sound that was more incridible u wont belive it the price was 15000 with headset, data cable and with bill. tomm iam going to buy this phone..... thanks to the review in gsm arena.. bye

you can always get a bigger capacity flash card,it isn't as if there are only 64MB flash cards around.I heard motorala is planning to release 512MB flash cards, thats more than most solid state mp3 players.

To jasp-jasp
An Mp3 of good quality works at about 1mb per minute of playtime.
Since Mobile speakers even though good on this phone are still limited in their quality. This allows you to reduce the quality of your Mp3 and still have it sound the same from your mobile.
So yes unless your songs are incredibly long you should be able to fit them on the Flash card.

Riaan ... thanks for your prompt reply ... well i still wonder the T-flash card 64mb ... would that be enuff for me to save 3full songs or mp3 theme ringtone ... does the VGA integrated camera out look great ??? pic still presentable ???
In Malaysia it costs RM1399 , do you think it worth to hv one ??
as your said the text is good ... if compared with Nokia ... 1 out of 10 , what is your rate ??
thanks

Hi all
I am sorry. I stand corrected. E398 can only do video play back. Not sure if any software is avaiable to do the same. Check out these links below for more info.

Can anyone tell if this phone can sync with Lotus Notes or Microsoft Outlook or not? And does this phone packaged with anysoftware to convert video files to MPEG4? I uses SE P800 and there is no way i can convert movies to MPEG4. P800, like this phone, can only play but cannot record movie.
Thanks and hope there is a real expert out there that can provide useful info.

i bought this phone last week for rm1400 (in malaysia).. i found that the tft screen.. despite the hi-res 65k-color has some reddish problem when displaying dark/black images.. is it normal for motorola's phone?.. i'll go to motorola service center tomorrow to have it checked..
there's also some bug .. eg: i cant answer calls when there's a new unread sms indicated on the display.
