i want to buy a phone mayb a Nokia6230 or motorola E398...can anyone tell me which one is better overall?..is E398 worth buying?..can i download any software in it..such as dictionary? is the ringotones loud enough? is the phone slow?

I bought this phone a week ago. So far it's a ok phone. PRO: Good screen, better than V600 and V400. The flashlight is useful when in the dark but useless for taking night pictures. I think the screen cover is made with extra coated so far I have no scratches(I carry it in my pocket). The camera is about average in daylight; however, it sucks taking low-light condition picture, really bad. Speakers on E398 are cool, since it's stereo speakers I can acutally hear some bass. But, the volume of the speakers isn't loud enough, about the same as V600. The video playback function is kind of sorry, too. It really lags when play mpeg4 files, since it has only support 7 fps. Battery usage is about average. Overall it's a good phone.

you can try using third party tools to do that.I remember having used something like that before but i can't recall the URL.Guess you will have to search for it...

my C550 can load java apps from computer to phone...Like that guy said,it could be that the operator disabled it.They wanna make money from you downloading apps from their wap portals i guess.Afterall here in singapore one java game costs 5 dollars(around 3 US dollars).

any1 know how to load Java applications from PC to E398? The software provided in the package do that. and also any1 have the Java app loader path under Java Settings Menu? Not sure why mine is missing. Will appreciate if any1 can help..

Plus K700i has limited memory(internal 41MB).Can't listen much of songs if you get what I mean.

Well + for motoE398: it has stereo speakers, support memory card, better mp3
+ for SE k700: it has a better camera
