i got a problem wit my E398...i already try watever it takes but i cant store more than 19 msgs in my inbox...tat means it can only store messages in the sim card but not the phone....the "MESSAGES FULL" sign will appear and i cant receive any new message...please help...thanks

advice:the java mp3 player is sucks insted try get the ituns softwar!!! & u can mack a playing list in suonds!!

hey people...i supposed that this phone would be able to store at least 100 msgs in the phone..but why is it that my phone keeps on giving me an alert bout full msg when the msgs only reach 35?please teach me...

Finally, got my e398 after 3 months of surfing n searching!!
The first impression of it was WOW!!
I live in newdelhi,INDIA & here motorola is not very popular.so my friendz told me to buy nokia or se phone but i chose moto e398 n Iam extremely pleased with my decision.
My friend has SE K700i n he is jealous of my phone !!
Pros:-
Amazing MP3 Stereo 3D Sound.
Exceelent Display.
Good Quality VGA Camera.
Easy Connection With PC.
Bluetooth Works Very Well.
64MB Transflash Card.
Good Battery Life.
Fast SMS Speed (Contrary to popular belief).
Fast User Interface.(-do-)
Last 2 pros are directly due to the s/w version 96R_A(I havent changed anything on my phone).
Cons:-
No Video Recording.(Can be enabled!!)
No Radio.
Hope this will be a good guide for people who are hesitating to go for motorola brand especially in INDIA.

does anyone used java mp3 player. i installed one but it says no mp3 found in trans memory? and shut down the program. anyone have any idea. coz i don't like the built in mp3 player.

advices: when i have that anoying probl with the trans card deleted suddenley : just restart the phone. it`s not deleted ...the phone just sucks! .

i got problems with the central navigation joystick. it seems to be not really responsive even though i have pressed it quite hard. i think that motorola should improve in this aspect.

good phone very very bad software it delets the memory card when you least expect it bad camera this is a paranormal phone it gives errors like no tomorow

has any1 else has probs wit the backup light and flash failing? I had to send mine away to get fixed, could just be a tech prob, apart from that i love my E398

mmm...abe and SE are arguing about K700 and e398...I hv these 2 phones as well as e680i and T630.
abe..am sure u are not working for moto. am not a supporter of any brands of phones. and i hv used more than 20 over phones behind me.
k700 loses out in memory if u gonna load mpeg4 and tons of mp3 in it.
k700 hv FM radio, better reception than moto (my e680i), e398 dun hv.
k700 hv video recording, e398 dun hv.
camera wise e398 win, slightly better.
bluetooth data receiving e398 totally out, ultimately slow.
e398 hv a nice mp3 player but loading the program slow. but able to load mp3 in sound program and create playlist in it too. two ways to play mp3. and no equalizer
K700 with equalizer, just arrange the folder and turn on mediaplayer..and it will start playing.
e398 heavier than k700
screen wise e398 much better.
k700 no speaker phone
e398's sound kills..! + rythmic light
e398 preloaded ringtones...yak.!
k700 hv theme creator software..easy to use and make ur phone out standing.
e398 hv too..but once u see it forget about it.

hello everybody!i've got a question here and i really need help in this.I just bought this e398 few days ago.Everything runs perfectly well.But the skin in the phone is terrible!leopard,zebra,circuit and moto.I would like to download new skin and upload them.Can somebody please tell me where to get them and move the new skin into my phone?
