to S, u can use mp3 as ringtone...first u change the quality of the mp3, lower it so that u can copy it to the phone memory to be used as a ringtone....

as i browse on the internet,(motorola.com)i found out that one of the features on the audio is fm stereo,but u need to purchase stereo headset fm600,just want to clarify how true is it,if theres anyone who already tried. pls send me an e mail, pls...

the earphone is fine. great sound once you upgrade to i398.deep bass, surround sound. doent sound nice unless you have itunes

The earphone is too 'large' and don't like the style... Looks like a small speaker in your ear... anyone using other earphones with his i/E398

yoz, me from singapore....juz upgraded my phone...got video ...rocks....phone memory increased from 4 to 5 mb...wohoo...but it takes a while to upgrade and its quite troublesome....but its worth it though...those in singapore who want to upgrade this phone may conTact me thru my email...adios

why whats wrong with the headphone? you dont like the sound? its because you havent upgraded to i398. with itunes player, more bass, surround, a totally new listening experience.just like having an ipod!!!!!!!!

Finally! I'll be getting my e398 unit tomorrow after almost 2 months waiting! Can't wait to get it and explore the possibilities. I plan to modify it i398 but I'm scared that I might kill it. Guys, when you say 'screwing up the mod process might kill the phone' what do you exactly mean? Will it render it unusable and unfixable even by cellphone techs?

Hi, i need some help with my caller ID, which doesnt want to work. To start off i'm from Australia and over here we don't use area codes like other people have suggested, so the numbers just go in one big chuck (xxxxxxxxxx) Now, i've set pictures for most of my contacts and renamed them to the contact's name, but i always get an 'unknown call' message and i've also stored contacts on the phone, not the SIM card.
The only other thing i can think of is in Settings - Ring Styles - Loud/Vibrate/Silent Detail - Ringer IDs ON
I've checked with friends calling each other and they display their ringer IDs, but when the same number calls me, 'unknown call' yet again. Any help would be appreciated

Using the E398 as n Mp3 player but i don't like the earphones provided with the phone... Bought an adapter but no more stereo sound... Anyone using a 2.5mm earphone, plz give details about the brand and the model...
