although u install 2 the i398,but still there is no infrared port like k700 n poly24 still lose to k700 poly40...

He everyone!!! i've been reading about the special flash thing which makes your phone do things like video recording, but my phone is 3 months old and i would'nt want to kill the stuffing thing! so please can someone tell me if theres any other way to get video recording

just installed video recorder by using shoeys i398mp. grreeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaat.!!!!
k700i? nowhere near hahahahaha.(sorry guys ) great sound. also now has itunes. my phone is recognized by apples itunes 4.9 and it works like an ipod. automatically downloaded songs to my phone. The still picture resolution has been improved. what else can you ask??????

hey man thanx for that info. the "Java Application Loader" tab has appeared. but there is one more problem.. the phone does not display the icon at the top of a "secure application connection" even though a message is shown that "JAL Link is active". i have connected using the USB cable as asked by the phone and have also switched default connection as Data/Fax connection rather than Memory Card. pls help if possible!!!!

hi i bought my E398 almost a year already!!!im really amazed of the feature it has!!!a surround stereo sound which fully satisfies ur imagination, it really gives u a matter of fulfilment if ur with this Motorola E398...

arnold, just follow shoeys guide to the letter and you wont be dissapointed. be sure to install all drivers and fully charge your battery before startint. good luck.

I had this phone since last December and I think this phone is quite good except that the operating system is soo slow that when u just access the last dialled calls menu, it takes a few seconds, and it it also slow in keypad... Plus the memory card can only support to 256 MB. But the sound is soo good!... in the phone. THe earphone come with it does not have enough bass punch... and no equalizer. Plus it cannot record video, but can play MPEG4. Rating:7/10 Good

yup, am true blue PINOY. just follow shoeys guide ...http://homepage.ntlworld.com/alan.schumacker/Moto/i398/ . I modded mine and i went immediately to the malls to show my stuff hehehehehe, man, they were amazed.
print the guide. its 19 pages . actually you can call it an idiot proof guide . shoey made it very detailed even a grade schooler can do it.SHOEY is a genius . we owe him BIG. just install all the drivers and you will be fine.just follw the guide to the letter

1. press menu button, then press 048263* as quick as posible
2. insert this code

I flashed my phone to e1/e790 version and now I have itunes, acc player, video camera and a lot of new thing!

Hey replayee. This phone is relly nice and better than k700.
This phone have a stereo speaker and the loudest speaker money can buy.
K700 is a piece of junk.Expensive, and don't have a memory card slot. Only 40 mb of memory..........
