Ok this is gret i flashed it and it works fantastic, but i only flashed the 1a file. What is the other file for????

    Can anybody pls advise me how to set up voicemail on this phone? Cingular does not support the software in the US.

        To All:

        To flash ur E680 to E680i, u need:

        1)PST 7.2.3Genaral.exe (http://hinet0926a.myweb.hinet.net/PST_7.2.3_GENERAL.exe)

        Then u need the flash files(for E680i Ver.C5 u need these 2)
        1a)E680I_G_0D.C5.A4P_0D.B0.B1P_T674KV_L001_S015_P00­4_GSOE680IT674KV006_full.shx (222MB)

        2a)E680I_G_0D.C5.A4P_0D.B0.B1P_T674KV_L001_S015_P00­4_GSOE680IT674KV006_1ff.shx (146MB)

        Install PST then use cr**ck.exe to Cr**ked it(press 6 time Cra**ck)

        Start flashing(back up ur phonebook 1st by using "Motorola Phone Tools 3.25B", cos E680i no more using "EXsync")
        or u lose all data):
        1)Go to folder where ur PST installed, look for MultiFlashFlex.exe and exe it.

        2)Off ur fone, by pressing (camera + volume down button + on button) to on it, then come to blue screen.

        3)Connect to ur com by usb cable(if prompt for driver, look for it at ur PST folder).

        4)On the MultiFlashFlex.exe program, "flash setup" browse for (1a), right side preference tick all 4 colunm.

        5)MultiFlashFlex program below shd detect ur E680 (show ???exZ loader something).

        6)Start flashing by click "Start".

        7)It took 20-30mins, in the progress u will see "erasing flash memory" and something else.

        8)Untill u see "Green" button", it mean u sucessfull, Off ur phone, unplug usb and normal switch on ur phone.

        9)For the 1st time switch on(after flashed), it took a bit longer time to startup.

        Repeat the flashing step 1-8 but at step 4, don't use (1a) BUT use (2a).

        After all this, now u r using E680i, no more E680.

        E680i interface better, more user friendly BUT Slower than E680, and do not ask me how to flash back to E680.

        All action at ur OWN RISK , i did it for 2 or more time with no problem, do not ask whether own flash E680i support Stereo BT headset, 2GB Card
        or not cos myself not test it yet.

            I believe the file u downloaded is E680 flash E680i C3 Version, few day back i manage to get E680i C5 version.

            File name(C5):

            Later on, more lastest update will be release but just hope outsider can get it(other than Motorola Enginneer).

                ... and the file .shx i downloaded is not 191mb, is only 84mb. Is that a right file or i need something else? I downloaded it from http://www.fangdown.com/soft/5278.htm

                  I downloaded all files for e680 update, but i dont know how to install them on the phone. Please send me somebody step by step instructions on how to upgrade my e680 to e680i. Thank you!!!!

                      anything that can make my e680 more powerfull, like pixela and program who can organize my photo easily, and some upgrade of e680i on my e680, thanks 4 ur help saint5354, pls send the files to my email and step my step how to install it, thanks a lot

                        Pls read ppl opinion before these, and let me know what software u need or for what purpose, i will try to send to those who can't understand English since i m free for few day on HL Leave after surgery...

                          for God sake, can someone send me a site for upgrade and make my e680 powerfull, why all the sites is in chinese language, i can`t read it :P please can some one help me en send it to my email

                            hye all...we are THE E680 Union..hehhe...who have E680 software cdrom..because i buy the second hand..so i dont have the Cd.can u'll help me..plazz..thanx a lot..and one more thing how to get the another software like windows media player and others...what URL can get all..thanx a lot..

                              Sorry saint,because i put this in the computer of my company but it has been formatted(some virus affect and we have to do it).Let me know when you got it.I'm afraid i will borrow yours.
                              FOr the reading masage,3 steps:
                              1/go to Setup/voice comend:turn on VOICE
                              2/hold the button in the right side(the side with 1 button)you will see,loading VR
                              3/After that,go to mesage.You've got it.

                                    I'm getting a broadcast message: info message from my network TIM every 30 seconds. Anyone know how to disable this nasty messagens? Thanks a lot :-)

                                        If you look carefully, its not me posted about flashing the phone and installing picsel browser. May be you mistook by seeing the name in the top of the comment. When you post a comment, your name is listed below!

                                        Even I'm waiting for Saints help in installing Picsel browser and falshing my phone to E680!
