My E770 w/ 1G MicroSD card is fine.
You can put 7-8 MP4/3GP video inside
(approx. 45min each). It has excellent display
on full-screen movie & wonderful sound effects
throught stereo headphone.
I can save the money from buying an extra MP4 player....

Does anybody know how to set up the email ? I want to get my emails from gmail.com using the email option instead of web mail. I am using vodafone NZ gsm card. Thanks.

I have the motorola e770 for about 2 month and i really can say it's great phone. it's much more paster then the E1 and 398.

I would just like to say this phone is very good value. Ever since I lost my Samsung S400i, which I still do miss, it has been very good to me. It has the same features, and infact some extra ones

Well not all Motorola phone has this BUG as described here. Maybe just this model. I happen to own 3 different kind of Motorola such as.... C651, E398, Rokr E1.
All working well and fast too. Can even modify everything eg. Theme, tones, skin and you can increase the internal volume of speakers. Which can make your Ringtone , message tone, voice recording and multimedia volume real loud.

To your qiestion the e770v is one of motorolas best 3g foen with video bluetooth wich only 2 others have as far as i no this fone is bene really good for me but on like most motorola's as far as i no u carnt downlaod new tjmes for it it woul dbe much better if it hada better camera hope this helps

Last week i lost my Moto E398... and now i`m looking for a new one. i would apreciate if some of you E770 owners could give me some advices. I was relatively happy with my old phone(e398)... it had some bugs like...slow Bluetooth, slow thinking,slow software,slow java. is this E770 the same?

I have the motorola L7 and I have the same problem. It is really illogical. I think guys from motorola should follow some interface design clases before they build their phones ! Or more simply, maybe they should buy just one Nokia and have a look at the interface...

Just bought this phone a week ago, and so far am very impressed.
One thing I haven't worked out how to do - hopefully it's possible.
Is there any way to change the ringtone for a contact, but still have the default message tone?
For example - if I change a contact's ringer ID to say a 30sec ringtone, it will also play that 30sec clip when a txt message comes in from them too! Very annoying!
What I would like to do is have that ringtone for phone calls, but the default one for messages.
Is there anyway to do this? The only way I can see is the global setting that applies to everyone - i'd like to do that for an individual contact.
Kind of defeats the purpose of ringer ID's for each contact if it's going to ring for 30seconds or more each time a txt message comes in??!!

It appears that E770 has usb connection, the same plugin for the power can also be used for usb. On connection it will have folders set up already!!

Whoever designed the user interface on this phone should be utterly ashamed of themselves. It's one of the worst pieces of software I have ever encountered.
Whoever conspired to also design the rest of the software on this phone ALSO should be ashamed, as it continually and repeatedly locks me out of various functions (i.e. it decides who I can call in my phone book, it sporadically locks out some functions in the menu). Switching off then on sometimes solves these problems but not always.
This is utter garbage. If it actually cost me any money I'd be extremely angry, but luckily it was a free upgrade.
Never going Motorola ever again!!

xmas present! would've rather had been given a cell to the likes of the ones we used to view back in the early 90s!crap crap crap! its been fixed, rebooted, bits replaced and still crap crap crap! i've done my research and nz are the only ones that manufacture these rubbish devices.. in the motorola grand scheme of things NZ isnt even recognised! shame! maybe thats why they rip us off with the E770V.. to make up for the fact they cant cut into the big time! shame! WHY ISNT ANYTHING BEING DONE? Well if anyone would like to join me in my quest for retribution then step up.. Replacements for all! I think a nice dolce & gabbana razr would make up for my constant frustration of those times when my children are doin sumthin at sumtime that needs to be recorded.. and the mongrel motorola wont behave.
