The camera is not great and that's mostly because of the camera software because it has a capable main sensor Ov50a40.
I have been searching for a perfect gcam for this phone... a lot of them work and produces much better images than the stock camera, but every gcam I tried has one or the feature not working and particularly Astrophotography didn't work on any of them.
Does anybody know which gcam with working Astrophotography on this device?!

I'm using it for more than one month. I will share my review about the set I got.
It's a great device, I got it for INR 22k. The display is really nice, the 144 Hz display is somehow smoother than the 120 Hz display of Samsung. On an average I get 5 hours 45 minutes SoT, that's decent since the 4020 mAh battery is well optimized by the clean stock android. The UI feels like premium, no buggy apps, no bloatware and adware. The speakers are good, they are actually quite loud. Motorola edge 30 uses Micron's new uMCP5 storage, which is actually based on UFS 3.1, so it's kinda blazing. Qualcomm SD 778G+ 5G is doing a great job, I haven't faced any heating issue till date. The cameras are kinda average, the back camera does pretty decent job though, but one thing I have seen, the night camera is great. Front camera is not so good in my opinion though. I have done video recording, and for OIS, it doesn't record any jerking, which is great. The only con I have faced is the proximity sensor issue, I personally don't face it too much since I use bluetooth earphone, but I have done a bit research and found that almost every android phone using Google dialer (Phone) is having this issue, you can install some other dialer from play store and use it as default dialer. I should also mention about the 33W charger, it does a great job, my phone gets charged from 9-10% to 100% in less than 65 minutes. But I am truly disappointed with the OTA updates. My phone still runs the android 12, and also the security patch is from December 2022.
Overall, the phone is great even if you're a heavy user, the only cons being the camera performance and the OTA updates. Otherwise it is a premium midranger phone, and it feels like a flagship phone.

However, you just completely lied again by saying this phone can't reach peak brightness of 1000 nits, cause it can and if you paid closer attention to the specs listed above you can see that it does have HDR10+ certification which can be enjoyed anywhere else except Netflix, you dummy

Hi, my phone's screen doesn't turn off when I'm making phone calls, this causing me all kinds of trouble. All the time either speaker or recording starts when screen touch to the face.

Beside if you want to watch HDR movie on screen technically you need a screen that brighter than 1,000 nits to show the dynamic range between scene and this device ( Moto edge 30) only manage to hit 700 nits brightness so not only that it's not certified but also technically cannot show HDR content.

Samsung S20 FE 5G, A52s 5G and A73 are far more better than the useless edge 30.

This is a flagship series, which doesn't have huge batteries, card slots or headphone jacks to the liking of cheap phone users like you. So pack your bags and get going to your budget realme, infinix and xiaomi phones department that have everything you want.

Cameron , 14 Dec 2022Unfortunately this device doesn't support HDR content ... moreThis is not true. You can view the devices that Netflix 'claims' to have HDR support on their site, including phones from Xiaomi, Asus, Sony, etc. But in fact, there are a lot of devices NOT mentioned there that also support HDR content without Netflix's certification. For example, the Redmi Note series phones (pro versions) mostly support HDR on Netflix.

Worst phone I have ever used. Many software issues, camera is crap, poor network reception and many more bugs. I used Realme 3 pro, a budget phone prior to this and it was 100 times better than this. I'm also afraid to sell this one to someone because they may return it back to me within a day.

Battery life is good I get on average 6hrs of SOT and my screen refresh rate is set to adaptive . My previous phone s20 FE didn't last for more than 4 hrs SOT .
I am a heavy user and I make alot of phone calls during the day , browsing and texting with medium consumption of social media .
Dont believe anyone who has not used the phone and talking trash
Phone is pretty much stable with no hiccups or freezes
I would buy Motorola again beacuse of the good experience and bloat free software
