Ibn Batuta, 02 Jul 2023How's the camera? Does it heat during gaming?Camera does not heat up. Only issue I face is there is a delay/lag when you start recording videos. It give a 2 sec lag/jerk when I hit record. So I have to start over again and then it's buttery smooth. I guess Motorola haven't noticed this issue or is it just my phone that faces this problem.

By the time Android 14 hits all major companies, then Motorola will wakeup from their bubble and release Android 13 which will be 1 yr older generation software. I would rather buy Pixel phone next time since they are the first to update their OS. The only things I like about this phone is premium feel and lag free software. But update wise they are far beyond everyone.

Tbh I really dont care about using the latest android version as long as my phone functions properly. But it does not. The camera is not focusing. Thats why I have been waiting for Android 13 update because Motorola promised that they will solve this issue with Android 13 update. Terrible Customer Service from Motorola. But I will keep my Motorola because the phone is really still the top quality.

Ate their pace, expect no less than 2/3 months at least, to maybe, just maybe get the update
I feel so embarrassed when I see friends with their A33 or A53 or even A23, mid to low end phones running with android 13.
For this kind of treatment why pay premium?

Everything comes for a reason and the Edge 30 Ultra made me realise that if you really want premium spend some more and get an iPhone. Chances are you´ll be more than happy and forget about new phones for at least 3 years

I have this phone. and have had it for less than 3 months. that there has still not been an Android 13 update, this irritated me so much that I chose to put my motorola edge 30 ultra up for sale. I have lost the desire to keep this phone and I will never buy a motorola phone again. meanwhile i'm using oppo A77 5G. until i buy another android flagship.

I waited for pixel, it�... moreEverything is good for me except Bluetooth connection with my Cardo Freedom 2x, sometimes it's delayed when I press my Cardo Bluetooth device to accept call or end call and play pause next music, and sometimes drop connection.

Anonymous, 25 Jun 2023You forgot about cameras. Motorola always have bad cameras.Yes i know but they have improved the camera dept so good as compared to previous phones. Cannot Compare with S23 ultra or iPhone 14 pro series but for the price of 50k INR it's really good. They need to improve in software dept for real. It's still running Android 12 and 14 is about to release in few months. Don't know when will they update to Android 13.

Not only they didn´t , they managed to secure they would release an android 13 update almost a year later.

It goes up and down on it´s own and it´s so anyoing. This issue was previously reported. If they don´t fix this i´ll sell this phone and never in my life i´ll get another Motorola.

From what I see, Motorola updates from lowest to highest, its line of each model, and the last one, the últra, is the last of the edge line, to be updated. The edge 30 pro was already updated almost 2 months ago. Well, this will be updated for the moment to another. In any case, I already saw a friend with the edge 30 pro, that android 13, is almost the same as 12, there are very few improvements, and they are not even noticeable in use. So, better aim the complaints towards requesting that Motorola put digital zoom on the 200mpx camera, add the option of 4k video at 60 frames, on the selfie camera, and unzoom the macro camera too, and remove the limit 6x video zoom at 4k at 60 frames, and at 8k. It is only wills to improve the software of their cameras.

Possibly, in the remaining 3 years of improvements to the edge 30 ultra, Motorola will improve the cameras to the maximum.
