In smartphones Xiaomi is a giant on a global scale. Lenovo isn't even in the top 10 and Moto is about 6 timer smaller than Xiaomi - even if including Lenovo's tiny "0.something" percent market share.

There is optimised charging feature and there is overcharging feature that works only when the device has been charging continuously for 3 days. It's not entirely useless but it's not so useful either since people at home don't have the phone connected to charger for 3 days straight.

Bat... moreThe overcharging features works for those who prefer slo charging or those who charge over night. That is the purpose. It´s not good to use always the super charging feature to protect your battery.
There some few tweaks specially regarding the highlight camera, but those are easy to fix in my opinion. Let´s hope that Motorola adress those issues, other than that i´m happy with the phone. First Motorola that can actually impress and play in the major league.

Offensive, 13 Oct 2022Thank you for such a nice and detailed post.Over one week later I am still happy with the phone.
Battery life is good. As someone said 8h SOT. But I don't play games, just YouTube, Reddit, browsing etc.
There is two software bugs that I noticed. Sometimes the tap feature doesn't work so I have to press power button for screen to turn on and sometimes I noticed that battery percentage goes up. Last night I had 50% when I went to bed but in the morning it was 52%, lol.
There is a useless feature "Overcharge protection" in power setting which I would like Motorola to rework. Charging can be limited to 80% which sounds great but it only works if the phone has been charging continuously for 3 days, who the heck does that. Would be useful if it limited charging to 80% every time.
Android Auto seems to works a bit better then my previous phone where it wouldn't always connect on first try but I had not used it enough so not sure yet.
The phone doesn't get hot while I am using it but I am not gaming so. And when it is charging it gets warm but it's not hot since I can hold it my hand while it is charging.
The biggest problem with this phone is protecting the screen. The few tempered glass protectors for this phone seems all to be crap so I ordered a flip case.
I had to contact Motorola regarding the clock offer since I had some issues claiming the offer. There was no waiting time when I called them and they were quick to reply on email but I am not sure if they will be able to help so maybe no clock for me (if they have any in left in stock).

The 12T Pro takes significantly better photos on the main camera that most people use the most, and costs less. The 12T Pro is the better choice, unless your spouse is dependant on wireless charging.

If you buy the phone for the camera, wait until they update the app (if they ever update the app).The phone can take amazing pictures but it also can take crappy ones. Colours can be off and some photos are of a lighter shade. The pro option camera set up needs improvement, raw pictures are not good does not take full advantage of the 200m
