After 14 months of use, I can comprehensively assess that I have mixed feelings about this E30U.
After years with Huawei / Honor, and one attempt with OnePlus, I tried this one.
So:
Pluses:
Display: Is really great, even despite the resolution.
Stereo speakers: For me, they are great, specially for movies.
System: System is overall good, but not excellent.
Charging and battery: Really fast charging, and battery life still not so bad. Wireless is really addictive.
Minuses:
Camera: For realising price, this is the biggest disappointment. The camera is not consistent, you can't rely on it. Focus works still worse and worse. Portrait mode is one of the worst, i ever tried from years about 2017 and up. Sometimes I try to compete it with my old OnePlus 9 (non PRO) and Motorola is often hardly defeated. Ok at night is better like OP 9, but daylight photos are overall better on OP 9. Sometimes even my lovely older Huawei P30 (non PRO) makes little better results. Has to be software problem, hardware is enough here to win those matches easily.
System: Bugs, and nothing changed from release, still are there - same bugs. At this time, I have even some issues with 5G signal. Sometimes I lose even 4G signal.
Display: Personally, I really miss classic Always on Display, here is nothing like this. Display should be waked, just by move of the phone, or knock on display.
So, starting price was here over 800 eur, for this price i just get here score 6/10.
At this moment should be purchase in some sale for around 500 eur, and this is the price which those minuses should be more acceptable.
I will try X 13T PRO, or OP12, or Honor Magic5 PRO later in a few months.
:)

Since AD14 is already seeding to all companies, Motorola will update this phone when AD 15 will be out. Worst software update policy by the company.

Push, 30 Dec 2023Been using this phone since it was launched. Battery life h... moreI've personally faced a few issues including low battery backup. But, I've tested and it wasn't 4300 mah, never was. But, with the last update, the touch was messed up badly. I did a hard reset from the bootloader. And, it fixed all of the issues including low battery backup issues. I can comfortably get 7-8hours of SoT on a single full charge.

Push, 30 Dec 2023Been using this phone since it was launched. Battery life h... moreYes u guessed right using a low watt charger doesn't harm the battery.....i use 15watt charger for my S22+ and my father also uses that same charger for his moto G84.....My S22+ is nearly 2 years old and still didn't find any problem with the battery even after 2 OS updates.....I also use to plugin the phone before it goes down below 20% and charge till 85% which samsung has that option to limit charging till 85%. My 15 watt charger takes nearly about 50 minutes to charge the phone from 20 to 85%. And 25 watt charger takes just 5 minutes less than it.

CodrinGOD, 30 Dec 2023Just got myself an edge 30 ultra and I'm at the last u... moreBeen using this phone since it was launched. Battery life has gone down significantly after Ad13. Updates are quarterly no harm in that because they are big free. Camera has been improved a lot. My only complain is battery health. Read a post saying Motorola has purposely decreased battery capacity to 4300 mah from 4610 mah. Don't know if that's true but I see battery degraded a lot in an year. I won't be changing the battery since the phone is in top notch condition. Besides phone is flawless and runs smoothly and lag free. Battery must have degraded due to the 125 watt charger. I used 30 wt charger earlier and battery was excellent. But after using the original charger I have seen battery drops frequently.

Just got myself an edge 30 ultra and I'm at the last update before Android 13
Did some research and saw a lot of complaints about it but those posts are really old
How does android 13 handle the edge 30 now? Should I go for it?
Thanks!

I'm coming from a Huawei p30 pro (a 10 emui 11).
Sometimes I'm not sure whether problems I have with this phone are Moto problems or Android problems but I felt that Huawei worked much better.
Touch inputs to swipe away apps were more like a human finger swipe rather than EXACTLY down to up.
The screen adaptive brightness just worked as it should.
Screen splitting and freeforming apps are much more refined on Huawei.
Both phones have a great screen mirror and desktop mode with Motos being far superior (and 3 years more advanced).
Moto mirrors to full screen and using both desktop and tv mode is a treat. Nothing wrong with Huawei's but Moto's is just more expensive and refined.
This is a great phone which I bought a year after its release at a very low price for anything with the same specs. Some things could be better but I would recommend it. The software is light and easy to use. Cameras are great for the price point.
