Is anyone facing battery drain issue? I am on my latest software update. Android 12 was much better I would say because after getting updated to Android 13 batter life has been decreased drastically. Earlier SOT was around 8 to 9 hrs and now barely getting 7 hrs. Anyone facing the same issue?

I had an issue with my edge 30 ultra. Especially on front cam. Background is getting some kind of shaking/blurry effect in normal mode.

What is the purpose of 2x telecam here . That 200mp camera will be able to provide almost lossless 2x zoom . If they have given 3x 50mp telecam it will be much much better .

Camera
Still is has plenty of unresolved issues , struggles with focus when recording video at 4K/60fps. Footage is acceptable at Full HD 60,FPS or 4K/30fps.
Photos are fine with crisp details , and the 200MP are quicker enough to shoot. When viewing in Google Photos still present issues, taking more time to close or pass to another photo, no big deal though.
Other lenses ultra wide is fine and telephoto is ok. Nothing to write home about. It's 2X...
Night photos it's lottery, either great results or poor results.

Screen
Nice colors and high 144hz refresh rate is a nice plus. The auto brightness has issues struggling to settle under low light. When reading content either goes up or down , really uncomfortable to read.
Brightness is good and perfectly visible under strong daylight, you won't have issues

Processing power
Clearly the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 plus is a jewel. Honestly you won't have any problems , it handles beautiful any app you can throw or game and it doesn't heat up.

Special features
Ready for is really nice to use and works well only on windows PC or TV with Miracast support. But it's a great and useful feature to use.
Handy nice touches from moto, peek screen is useful to quick reply messages, for me the best AOD ever built in Android.

Battery life and charging speed
When i was using android 12 it was fine. I could get easily 8-9hours SOT. After the update , running android 13, it barely holds it power more than 3-4 hours. It's really that bad, I don't a know why. I've done a hard reset but I had no luck. And I'm a moderate user, some texting, light social media no more than that.
If using on wifi network you might get until the end of the day 10 pm
On Data , forget it , take the charger with you. Will gonna need it.
Charging speed is really fast 125W is really fast. Well at the beginning it take less than 15m. After updates it takes between 30-35min, rather strange.
It supports wireless charging,I use it a lot it works well, but never tried on a 50W, which the manufacturer claims that it supports it.
Software and support
Out of the box was android 12, and in general it work fine. We had several months almost an year to enjoy ,since android 13 conky came in July 2013. Yep. That late when almost any other manufacturer had updated.
After 13 it's a mess. Battery life is a disgrace and camera wasn't fixed, lacks optimization. I'd say it's work in progress , but I don't expect quick updates , since Motorola support takes ages (being nice) to release any fixes or updates. I don't expect android 14 any soon.
Motorola support forum is worthless many users reports bugs , ask for bug fixes, or updates and they do nothing about it.
They say it will have android 15, but you'll have to be really patient, and forget about that.
Software is nice and close to pixel, I really like Motorola approach, I always did.

If this was a low end phone it could be forgiven, but being a high end device, it clearly shows that Motorola is out of its depth.
Conclusion
If you get it right , and you don't care about those niggles, go. It's not a bad device. But not one you would expect considering it's competing with Samsung ultras phones or others.
For me , they lost me. I had several Motorola's including the first Edge series and the second but they have gotten worse on each iteration. I've heard Edge 40 pro it's better. At least on battery life . Maybe it's worth considering.
I'm getting an iPhone, I'm done with android .
