This is probably the best phone that I ever had.
Have some issues like the post processing image in the camera app or some heating problems. In my personal using, the overall experience is a notorious 9.5 from 10, the MediaTek chipset is quite good, for example last night I was playing Mobile Legends with the Max Set-up and the behavior of the GPU was amazing of course, the heating is there but let me be honest: For this range of price is fantastic!
The Display experience is amazing, some issues with the automatic bright (I guess is a software problem or in the brightness sensor), is a non-sense feeling that you have and automatic option to goes from 60 hz to 120 hz, but doesn't to 60 hz to 144 hz, if you wanted to use 144 hz you need gone careful and open minded that using 144 hz all the time, the battery drain decrease instantly.
The battery is good, but for this range of price Lenovo-Motorola will be put 5000 mAh inside, is ridiculous 4000 mAh, the 68 W charging is enough for this phone but it could be better.
Android Stock (more or less), I mean is good but it could be better. The Moto Apps are good but, in some point are useless and in my daily routine I never used it. Motorola guarantee 3 years of major Android updates and 4 years of Security Patches, is ok but come on... 6 moths or more to wait when the competition needs more or less 15 days to gives you a security patch and less than a month to having an Android update. Android 14 roll out is in the air and some brands doesn't care this.
My final opinion is a solid 8.5 from 10 (I recommend you this phone if you live, in Latin America)

Mahesh Poojary, 25 Dec 2023Pathetic mobile (Edge 40). * Even though battery charge is... more1 My advice . Close and uninstall the majority unnecessary google App because they stay connected to the internet and transmitted your data in background first! Use only 4G LTE and not 5G, close 2G network because it's not secure! Install alternative App independent free from trackers! And the processor it's very powerful for a mid-range phone have 4 Core A78 and probably they consume more power!

Pathetic mobile (Edge 40).
* Even though battery charge is under 5%, it is says overcharging, do you want to Charge Now or not. What a non-sense! Every time need to press Charge Now button if I disabled it also.
* I do two times charging for normal use daily, because this mobile processor consumes more power even in Idle time also compare to other companies phone (refer Battery Usage option).
* Day by day battery consumption of processor increases. Not sure why. We can observe this by Battery Usage opion.

I have had 2 Motorola Edge 30 neo recently and both had problems with microphones in conversations. The person whom I talk didn't hear me clearly. So, I avoid this phone, because I am worried that this problem is a common one for Motorola. Also, from what most of users wrote here, the battery life is a problem, 4-5h is less for me, especially because I am using a smartwatch from Xiaomi connected to the phone. I am guess that battery life will be only about 3-4 hours with a smartwatch connected, so I say pass to all Motorola phones and stay with my great battery phone Samsung A34.

Great phone... Just one drawback - battery time...
But in half hour on charger 75% in 25min. If you have a good deal, buy it.

Mahesh Poojary, 03 Dec 2023Mine is consuming now 2.5% of battery per hour in sleep tim... moreIf you're not using a 5G network, and only have 4G or 4G+, maybe that's the problem, you should lock 4G in "prefered network type", that was my problem, 'cause in my city don't have 5G, so phone is constantly searching for 5G.
Also you can set refresh at 60Hz, that will help too.

Mine is consuming now 2.5% of battery per hour in sleep time without Wifi and Mobile Data. If sleep time is 8 hours then it takes 20% of battery. Actually normal mobiles takes 0.1 to 0.5% of battery, I have tested it. Mainly consuming apps are (Taken from Battery Usage Option)
* Android System: 7%
* Phone idle: 5%
* Mobile Internet: 2% (5G)
* Screen: 1%
* boAt Wave: 2%
* robot symbol app: 1%
...
Main my concern is first two apps OS and Processors. Other people, if interested can check and share. Can confirm whether it is my board issue or not.

Just be careful with some of these latest motorola models including edge 40...claim to be dual sim but that means i sim slot and an esim..so if you have and use 2 nano sim cards look elsewhere.
