[deleted post]Oddly enough for me this size would still count as compact, any phone feels small and not wide enough after having used the vivo X Note.

    I'm completely fine with a 6.55" inch screen. I have big hands and my 6.4" phone is actually pretty good for me, maybe because of the 20:9 ratio but I don't think it's a big difference. But finally 4k on the edge Neo/Lite series

            It's strange that they made the Neo bigger, but overall I like it.

              4K @ 30FPS. This would go along with speculation that the Edge 40 Neo is a rebranded/updated camera bump version of the Edge 2022 which also uses the 1050 SOC and shoots in 4K

                      Smells like moto edge 2022... Congrats for the time travel Motorola

                        GsmArena specs seems to be wrong in some places. This below is so far the most trustworthy leak :

                        Motorola Edge 40 Neo 5G specs from Amazon Italy:

                        – 6.55″ FHD+ 144Hz pOLED display
                        – MediaTek Dimensity 1050
                        – 50MP + 13MP camera
                        – 5000mAh battery, 68W charge
                        – Android 13
                        – 12GB RAM, 256GB ROM
                        – NFC
                        – IP68
                        – 170g

                        Price: €399 (~₹36,300).

                        If true it loses to more expensive Edge 40 only in CPU horsepower. NEO wins in much bigger battery, plus with more memory 12/256gb. GsmArena's claim about 50mp OIS main camera video only 1080p which must be wrong since MD1050 is fully capable of 4K. Therefore it's at least possible that front- and UW cameras could also shoot in 4K as on Edge 40 but this we must wait for just a week or two when it's released.

                              So far so good enough.
                              My Moto Edge 40 Pro is way better but cost twice as much still compared to the competition is a best choice because does not ruin your wallet and gives avesome specs for its price.
                              The said competition not only cst much more but does not come with any accesories in box.
                              Motorola as usually have everything.
                              So even this Motorola Edge 40 Neo is way greater than most others.

                                    The specs need to be updated. As of 14 August 2023 it's showing the rear camera can only shoot 1080p. That's the Edge 30 Neo spec using the SD695 not the 40 Neo using the Mediatek 1050.

                                    6.55 screen is disappointing. Should have kept the smaller screen of the 30 Neo. If the 30 Neo had a more powerful chip and 4k recording it would have been an excellent choice: incredibly bright screen, compact size, 68 watt wired, 15 wireless, cool notification ring surrounding the camera bump.

                                        A nice entry-level Edge phone for those on a budget, with specs that are better than the A54 while costing less than the A54.
