DarlingYext, 14 Sep 2023It's strange that they made the Neo bigger, but overal... moreI personally can't stand ODM designs but this is a beautiful color, lovely yet generic design and the dimensions are perfectly acceptable for the "new normal"

DarlingYext, 14 Sep 2023Oddly enough for me this size would still count as compact,... moreIt's because it's considerable as 5 inch in 16:9 format, since these dimensions are more or less close to Galaxy S4, J3, Grand Prime, Xperia Z series etc
The side bezels are more or less similar, so it's negligible

I always wonder why Motorola can make Mid Rangers this attractive looking with a nice rear and curved display whilst Samsung are still living in 1930 with mammoth bezels on there midrangers.

AJ Ernesto, 14 Sep 2023I checked the Motorola UK website this morning and the pric... moreMotorola support said the £349 is a promotion when you trade in a device. So it sounds like it's not free but a discounted bundle because they said the phone by itself is still £299.

Anonymous, 14 Sep 2023USB 2.0, so no video output, no cabled "Ready For" It comes with Ready For. You can see it here on this video:
https://youtu.be/ro6eCU37PVw?feature=shared&t=179
It also comes with Gorilla glass 3 according to the Motorola UK website.

So that Dimensity 7030 is basically a rebranded Dimensity 1050, which Motorola had already used in the Edge (2022). Even the cameras are the identical between the two, except for the removal of depth camera in Edge 40 Neo.

I checked the Motorola UK website this morning and the price on the product page was £299. I then received an email from Motorola and a link which takes you to a graphic but the price has increased to £349 which includes 'free' ear buds and damage protection. Going back to the product page it's still £299, no mention of the so called freebies, and when you put the item in your basket is say 'no longer available.'

This will be a nice entry-level Edge phone for the lower end of the midrange market. I mean IP68, a 144Hz Curved 10-bit OLED screen with 1300 nits of peak brightness, decent performance, a 5000mAh battery with 68W charging and decent cameras all for a 400€ price is pretty good.

Lapu lapu, 14 Aug 2023Wtf?!!! Dimensity 1050??!!!Dimensity 1050/7030 is few Dimensity chipsets that support mmWave 5G tech, because AFAIK, most MediaTek Dimensity chipset don't support mmWave 5G, something that's crucial in the USA market.
