Cant wait for the Edge 60 ultra. Hope it has
Snapdragon 8 elite with a silicon carbon battery.
With these sharp looks and software. Moto will be an awesome buy

      Anonymous, 30 Jan 2025have you updated to android 15 and how was the experience ?Have upgraded to Android 15 since Dec 12th 2024 and I would be hard pressed to find a difference between 14 and 15. Android 15 is just slightly smoother but otherwise it is virtually identical from user standpoint. Haven't noticed any bugs or battery drain so far.

          FWIW i've heard the successor to this phone (whatever they'll name it) might have a MediaTek Dimensity SoC but take it with a pillar of salt as there's not really a concrete source for this.

          Then again the Edge 50 Ultra was leaked 7 months before release by some X user and nobody cared about it

I play emulated games (PS1), a few Android games, watch lots of streaming and YouTube (screen on or off), music and social browsing. Doing these on WiFi results in very little heating. On mobile data, it can get warmer but far from critical. More intense things like video recording (or lots of Snapchat on mobile data) can also heat it up. But the phone never becomes hot, in my experience so far.

From my perspective, the wooden back is less prone to scratches (especially visible ones) and is only found on the Edge 50 Ultra.

                  I have owned the wooden 50 Ultra for 7 months now and it lives most of its life in a case but during occasions or non routine day I use it naked and it is a pleasure.

                    Hey guys, I am confused between wooden and vegan leather back. Can someone please shed some light on this topic as for which one should I buy? thanks.

                                When the camera is open (photo or video) it does get warm but I've felt much worse and I live in a hot climate (Middle East).

I'm a pixel 8 pro bu... moreI cannot judge from Pixel 8 Pro but have owned the Pixel 7 Pro and the Edge 50 Ultra was considerably better in my use. But just as importantly, it charged significantly faster as well. It is no marathon runner but I could best describe it as reliable and on the upper scale of good.

                                      How you rate the battery life?

                                      I'm a pixel 8 pro but I find the battery life quite average at best. Can anyone give me an honest answer?

                                        Have had the phone for 6 months now, recently updated to Android 15 and everything is running perfectly for me so far. No major differences, just tweaks and things run that little bit quicker/smoother now.

                                        Updates have been consistant (so far) and if this device holds up, I will seriously consider this one's successor depending on what comes out.
