      Pathetic and overpriced, they even have the audacity to give you the budget 8s Gen 3 rather than the proper flagship chip at this high price ans to add insult to injury, they give you only 2 Android updates and a measly 3 years of security updates. You have to be a complete moron to buy this over the alternatives like OnePlus, Samsung or Google, overpriced e-waste.

              It's good enough to save photos in jpeg and raw at the same time (12MP).

              I have been using a Xperia 5 III for 2 and a half years and I can't count with a single hand the number of times the camera stopped working because the SD card couldn't keep up.

              And then there the transfer speed from the phone to the PC.
              It easily beats the pixel 8 and S22 Ultra in transfer speed.

              It takes less than 30 seconds to remove the SD Card and plug it in to the PC and copy files that would take less than 10 minutes compared to over 30 minutes that it would take using USB.

                  Reason is very simple even slow for today standards USF 2.0 is way faster than most fastest SD card on the market you can use in your phone.
                  Another thing is SD cards can be broken and it happens often at least had that case when i had to format my SD card before i could use it and all data in my case 250GB of family pictures and videos were lost. No thanks.
                  How a card which apart being used in more than one device could get broken. Not possible.
                  Case you break your phone are less common. But SD card in my case Samsung EVO 256GB got broken after a 2 years of working just out of nowhere and had no other chouice just to format it. ll data lost.
                  If something which have zero hardware can get damaged at random is useless.
                  SD cards are useless. You buy one you use one and if out of blue will stop working all your data is lost.
                  Get a phone with bigger memory and stop bragging for something as stupid and useless as SD cards.
                  Nowdays most people must have 256GB disk space more than enough and if not you can always buy aphone with 1 or 2TB internal memory or up to 11TB disk space from certain brand.

What I, and I think a lot of other people don't understand, is why you would care that the phone absolutely doesn't come with the capability to use one? You don't need to buy one and use it, and the inclusion of the physical hardware soldered on the mainboard literally can't slow down the hardware if there is nothing in that slot. If it did, then every PC would be a snail, with all their available ports.

                              It doesn't take any extra space that would take away from any other feature in the phone, including the battery or the camera if they would just design the phone properly to accommodate it, which many have done. I don't understand the hatred for having more features in a phone, especially a flagship which is supposed to be "no compromise". It also can't affect the price in any meaningful way when tons of midrange and entry phones have it, and you know the profit margins on those aren't going to be great. Not with all the competition they have.

                              Yet, you seem to really, really hate the idea that someone else might use a technology that literally doesn't affect you if you don't manually go and install hardware in your phone to use it. Why? Being annoyed by other user opinions about wanting it? Maybe that means that there is still a huge demand for something you don't use, but doesn't affect you if you don't use it... What's with that?

                                For a flagship at this price, thats ships with snap 8s gen 3 doesnt make sense. You can get great phones like s24 plus or iphone 15 pro with better performance. BUT they nailed the design and 125 WATT CHARGER which is crazy.
