A Java phone is not mentioned "smartphone", and a Symbian based phone is a smartphone, the Samsung Pixon 12 is not a smartphone, don't be silly! The Satio is a smartphone, why you don't want to google it?

Anonymous, 17 Jul 2009this cellphone is very nice and have great DESIGN but UNFOR... more- Heavy weight....again Moto's MC series is designed for "industrial use", that means you should compare to the scanning device used by FedEX / UPC etc...and see if the 300+g is really heavy.
- Cam. Do you see your FedEx / UPS guys ever use a cam for the job?
- 65K color, let me know how many Windows Mobile 6.1 device out there offers better color. Such is the "limit" of Windows Mobile, not Moto.

Mobilemaster, 26 Jul 2009They are almost dead, this year they announced what? Only w... moreLike it or not, Moto still outsells SE in recent financial result release....that means most phone users don't use high-end smartphones like X1 or X2...or A3100 from Moto.
I do know certain facts:
- Nobody else has made such "industrial use" phones like Moto's MC series
- Most Moto phones, (except those OEM/ODM ones) offer the best voice quality in the industry, vs. certain I ? Music brand's bars phones being known to capture all the background noise that the person's own voice can hardly be heard
- X1 is not really made by SE..."inside" should be HTC.

100 Moto, 23 Jul 2009So why Moto still sells more phones than SE?They are almost dead, this year they announced what? Only weak phones, and what about smartphones? Sony Ericsson has more smartphones for this year, one is the Satio, another is the X2, and X3 Rachael.

hi guys, yes i agree that motorola is not as a power seller anymore compare to other brands.. but c'mon, give them a break.. a shock resistant phone is still a shock resistant phone..

this cellphone is very nice and have great DESIGN but UNFORTUNATELY it have these defects :
- it is very heavy (336 g)
- its camera is very old (2 MP)
- its display could be better ( 65k colors )

Qvga on a 3.5 inch screen. congrats motorola, thats stunning pixel density! anyway, to all the moto fans, face it, this brand is dying. very few people talk about, much less buy motos anymore, and i can count the number of notable motorola phones produced in the past 2 years on one hand.
