0600-0800 + 1800-2300=7hrs on 3G
... moreAirplane mode while on wifi....as I'm in office...and my office is away from home on roaming.
and even connected on wifi, I'm not browsing "all the time"....is work hours.
Whatever, can you tell me why you feel so reluctant to charge the phone twice a day? What seems to be the problem?

it trully is the smartphone without compromise

Damn...this usage is awesome....but its hard to believe...i never heared any one posting a similar kind of usage.....
what do u mean by " I'm using running on 1.5"??
is it cupcake version??
and i heared charging vis USB give you much batter backup even it takes longer than wall charging

probably some, but unlike other Android phones I'm using running on 1.5, I never need to install / use task killer on my Milestone to free up RAM.
if you don't have access to power via USB, just get an extra battery and charger. Afterall, if you drive a sports car / SUV, you probably can't expect the same fuel economy as a compact car.

again, if you want such "fast" response, the expense is the battery life, and personally I don't charge it twice a day is really that big a deal.
but then if battery life is your "life", may I sugget one of the smartphones from Philips...you will get longer battery life than your N900

even if its giving me from 8am-11pm then i think its very low.
my present n900 also gives me around 13hrs
damn i thot milestone had a better battery
Now am hving second thoughts of buying it..
But i really like it
any one have a detailed description on the battery usage and life?

but can u pls xplain ur... moreI haven't tried to use the phone as heavy as you do. I can only speculate if you start to use your phone around 0800, with such usage, you probably cannot get through til 1100 without one full recharge.
I don't know where you live, though I believe demo units should be available and I'd suggest you try a demo unit and see how fast the phone can run, then you should understand why, especially given its 3.7in screen (larger than your N900 & iphone), would provide you better visibility...and of course at the expense of battery power.
